Great service but had to take my wedding dress back for multiple alterations that it shouldn't have needed. When I bought the dress I was originally able to step into it but after getting it altered the zipper they put on it was too short for me to step into and when I pulled it over my head my hair would get caught on the corset, resulting in having to get another longer zipper reinstalled. And after the installation of the longer zipper the hook for the bustle was now on the inside overlay of the dress that would cover the zipper instead of on the outside of the dress which then resulted in the zipper showing when we hooked the bustle. Another unneeded alteration.

Jo's Tailor saved my maternity bridesmaid dress! I took my dress to Ana's Professional Gown Alterations in Lewisville, and my dress was RUINED. Ana's kept my dress for a month, and I did not get my dress back until Wednesday afternoon around 1pm. I was leaving town Thursday at 1pm. I called Jo's Tailor (in tears) asking if they could even look at the dress. They got me in immediately. I dropped my dress off at 2pm, came in for a second fitting at 7pm (they worked late to get my dress finished), then picked up the finished product at noon on Thursday. They were so professional, and affordable. They could have charged me whatever they wanted at Jo's, and I would have paid it. I will definitely be taking all of my alterations back to Jo's Tailor. They literally SAVED my dress and made it fit correctly for the wedding. I wish I had gone to Jo's Tailor from the beginning, and saved my time, money, and dress.

My favorite tailor in DFW. I started coming to Jo’s when I lived in Grapevine because it was close and they had good reviews. Even now that I’ve moved to Dallas, I still drive 30+ minutes to get my clothes tailored at Jo’s. They do amazing work at a fair price. And they are so nice! I came in on a Thursday night needed a tux altered by Saturday, and they took care of it without any questions. Will definitely continue getting my clothes tailored here!

Far and away the best tailor experience I've ever had. I'm a very tall man so I end up at the tailor quite frequently. This place is fantastic. The fitting experience was lovely. She's quite careful to get a good fit the first time. She's also a joy to talk to. It is located next to the Wingstop.

I've been going to Jo's Tailor for over a year now and have had 2 suits and 4 sportcoats altered here. I have been thoroughly impressed with their work on all occasions. They were even able to work on a hand-made Brioni sportcoat that I bought online and made it fit like a glove. For your tailoring needs big or small this is the place to go.

Took my wedding dress here to be altered and it started off fantastic. The dress was perfectly pinned, fit like a dream and was easy to get on and off even with the pins in. Went back several weeks later and the dress wouldn't even zip. An extra 2 1/2 inches had been cut off and we were told nothing could be done, they weren't the ones who made it too small, etc. After threatening a lawsuit, we went back in and they had fixed the dress to fit again. I'm not quite sure what happened, but the amount of stress and worry we endured is why I am leaving 2 stars. Their customer service was excellent, but we should not have had to go through this 2 weeks before my wedding.

Best tailor in Ft. Worth / Mid cities. I brought her a suit that really needed some significant alterations. Two other tailors turned me down. She had me looking great. I drive 20 miles to use her when there's a dozen other tailors closer. As good as any of the expensive tailors in Dallas at a much better price. Difficult jobs do not scare her at all.

I have taken the majority of my suit to Jo's Tailor, and I have to say from here on out, I am going to continue to take my suit to them. They have done the impossible, if you ask me. I had a ventless suit jacket that I wanted to see if at least a single vent could be opened up, something that most tailors would not even try to do, but they were not only able to do it, they did it well. It was like the suit was made with a single vent. I have had jacket cuffs taken up and every time they were spot on. Price wise, they are the best value I have come across. I had them tempt the impossible one more time with a pair of pants that were a little too tight in the thigh. And even though there was only a little fabric there was to work with, they made the pants fit perfectly. Jo's Tailor is worth their weight in gold.

I read the reviews thinking I would have a good experience and was met with exactly the opposite. I brought in 6 pairs of pants all to be hemmed, tapered, and some taken in where needed. While they worked with me on the time frame (I needed at least 2 pairs a few days earlier), the pants have strange hems, some straighter than the other. I was charged full hem price for pants that were cut with scissors (I could have done that) and some pants were made baggy because of the hem job. Based on the work I had asked to have done, I thought the cost was extremely high and when I questioned further, they changed the price to even higher. Fortunately (and I think because I was so annoyed) they had me pay the original amount given. I will NOT be going back and I recommend you don’t either.

Came in with a wedding dress for a ceremony that would be happening within a month. I came in a total of three times: initial fitting, a second fitting one week later, and pickup about two weeks after that. The woman I worked with was very thorough and even got a second opinion from another tailor to make sure the illusion neckline came out right. I was very happy with the service and especially grateful that they were able to get it done in time. Thank you, Jo's Tailor!

Pros: Friendly + reliable. Cons: NONE! The customer service was excellent! We dropped in with a couple of prom gowns for a very petite 4' 9er" who was undecided about which dress she'd wear to her prom. They helped her choose, pinned her and sent us on our way. We even asked to delay the alternation to give us a chance to take one more trip to the mall to see if it was in fact the one. We later called back and told them to go ahead with the alternations because we were so comfortable with the level of care they showed us. The dress was ready as promised and perfectly altered. The "little one" couldn't be any happier. I highly recommend this dynamic duo for your alternation needs. I don't usually leave reviews but had to in this case because I chose this location based on the reviews. Thanks for the amazing work and your excellent customer service!!

This place is hands down amazing!! I had my wedding dress altered here and they did such a phenomenal job. I had some body changes that required letting the dress out a bit just before my wedding and they were able to do it in just a week’s time. The pricing is more than reasonable compared to other tailors. Highly recommend!!

I'm actually shocked right now. I brought in my $50 dress to have a few inches taken off the height. I WAS CHARGED $151! What the heck!! When I questioned the price, they told me this was because the verticle ruffles at the bottom of the dress! I have NO IDEA why they would ever think to charge THAT MUCH for an alteration on ONE dress. I didnt have time to fight with them on the price as I needed my dress for an event I'm going to tonight. I honestly cant believe I just spent that much on an alteration. I feel scammed and I will never do business here again. Be warned!

As soon as I walked in I got treated with respect.The lady gave me recommendations,so I can look even better specially because I have a athletic body it’s kinda hard to make things fit right.I went to pick up my suit tryed it on and it fitted perfect like a glove took my style from a 1 to a 10 I definitely recommend them for anything even if you have a athletic body they got you covered.Oh clean place as well i would give them 10 stars.Going back again with more suits.
