Harry is the best Men's Tailor in Dallas. I had several very nice suits and jackets that had to be resized smaller. I also had functional buttons put on a new suit and the new suit needed to be shortened. Harry did everything perfectly and delivered all of my pieces ahead of time. The service was personal and very professional. I have not had any experience like this with other tailors. Harry can do things other tailors don't do or don't feel comfortable doing. If you are a man with nice suits, pants or jackets and need high-end alteration from a master tailor, Harry is the place to go in Dallas.

If you're looking for a tailor shop with lots of suit jacket experience then you've found your spot. They did a spectacular job with my suit jacket. They were also very honest about what did not need to be adjusted, which is appreciated. That being said, I paid $120 cash (no credit cards accepted) to have the sleeves and body of the jacket adjusted, so prepare to spend more here than you would elsewhere for those adjustments.

Harry has become my go to tailor, especially for alterations on fine suits and sport coats. I had several beautiful Armani jackets and a suit that needed updating--narrowing the shoulders and shortening the length. Harry's did a wonderful job. These are not cheap alterations but well worth it as I now have a fashionable high quality Armani sport jacket wardrobe for a fraction of what I'd pay for one of these new at a store.

HARRY IS THE BEST!!!! After picking up my bridesmaid dress from David's Bridal to find out that my alterations from their department were completely whack (with about a week until I was leaving town for the wedding)... that same day I came to Harry and he saved the day. In five business days he transformed my dress at a completely reasonable price... and did so with class, humor and compassion! Customer for life!!!!!!!! Harry has been taking care of me and my family for over 25 years! The clothes go in and when they come out they are done and look like they were made that way in the beginning. The first thing I took in was an overcoat that was too large and the sleeves were too long. When I got it back it fit perfectly and looked like it came off the shelf that way. Super friendly and make you feel welcome always.

Harry's is clearly the place to go, because when you walk in, the place is crowded. Harry is super nice but I had to call two weeks after he told me my clothes would be finished. When I called, my order clearly had gotten lost. I was able to pick up two days after I called but still paid full price. However, I found that there was still a little hole in a pocket he was supposed to mend. He fixed it for me at no additional cost, but his answer was that he only knew of one hole. I was a little disappointed that when I said the pocket needed mending that he wasn't proactive/detailed. The skirt I had taken in was done nicely, so I'm willing to give him another try at least for regular alterations.

This is an excellent tailor shop. Harry did an amazing job on my sport coats. They now look and feel absolutely perfect. Really impressed with the time as well. Now, what makes me have to write a review is the incredible work done on my leather jacket. Yes, he can make leather alterations and it is like I bought the jacket new with the perfect fit for me. I was super blessed to find Harry's Tailor Shop. I had a bridesmaid dress (with tricky lace) that I needed to be hemmed ~ 1/2 a foot for a wedding in 2 days! Harry did an AMAZING job and had the dress ready for me in less than 24 hours. I was extremely impressed by the quaility, craftmenship and care that went into making my dress perfect. I called beforehand to set a time to come in and drop off the dress. I tried it on, Harry marked it and I was out in no time. I called the next day to see when would be a good time for pick up, and he already had it ready for me! I picked it up after work, paid cash and was on my way. Great experience. I would definetly recommend taking your clothing to Harry's Tailor Shop.

Short version: Fair market prices, excellent work from a multi-award winning tailor. Would recommend to anyone, and I will be returning. Longer version: I had a suit which needed to be tailored for my wedding day. Had plenty of time between getting the suit online and having it tailored. The jacket was done first because the pants were a size smaller than I needed. Jacket: Sleeves taken in, Sides tapered. Stitching: I'm not experienced enough to know, but I would definitely say it was of excellent quality as it fits absolutely perfectly. I just got my pants after I had complications with the company from which I ordered the suit (address/exchange size errors). I will update my review after I receive the pants back to comment on how those turn out. For now, I have no concerns whatsoever to expect less than excellent quality. He even is expediting them because he knows I am in a bind. There are some reviews complaining about cost: in tailoring I have read that you get what you pay for. Also, it may seem simple to tailor clothes, especially since Harry's works quickly, but what you don't see is the decades of experience to where he can tailor them in a short period of time and still retain excellent quality. He works hard and is rightly compensated. Usually places get a bad rap on Google reviews because 90-95% of people who go and have a good/decent/excellent service don't say anything here. Most of the time the Google reviews only state the horrible side because egregious people want to vent their fury to the world because their experience was less than kosher. However, I have decided to start writing reviews to help those who want to make an informed decision based on the average user on an average day. Hopefully you find this review helpful from the "Average Joe." Maybe I'll begin to help even out the lop-sided reviews on "common" places and we'll see more 4 - 5 star averages than 1 or 2.

I am sure when the time comes for brides to alter their wedding dresses, many of them, like myself, are hesitant to give up their wedding dress to someone they hardly know. Well, I was anxious about having my wedding dress altered, since my dress was as complicated as they come. Looking back, I shouldn't have worried at all! Harry had me come in about 3 times during the process to make sure everything fit they way I wanted it to. There were no mistakes in the alterations nor did they have to fix any previous alterations during the process. In the end, my dress turned out perfect! I can't wait to wear it at my wedding! To everyone (especially brides) looking for a great tailor, Harry and his staff are amazing, I am proud to say that I will be a customer of his for life and would recommend his services to anyone that asks.

Harry was wonderful! Pulled a dress out of the back of my closet to wear to dinner, but noticed the strap had broken off, just three hours before I needed it for the occasion. In a panic I google searched, looked for the best reviews near by, and called Harry. He was able to get the job done in less than an hour! I had my dress for dinner.
