Overpriced unfriendly terrible service. Ruined three sets of drapes, cut and sewn too short but worse, the seam wasn’t even straight. Wasted $300 in drapes and $100 in alterations. Don’t go here. Don’t.

I bought an online bridesmaid's dress that was slightly too large around the waist and the shoulder straps needed to be shortened. Mrs. Amy did the work seamlessly (I could not tell where she had altered the dress). I picked up my dress in one week since I was in no rush. Mrs. Amy took me quickly for alteration pinning and discussed pricing and time needed. I would recommend her.

Amy Tailor made me a BEAUTIFUL, one-of-kind ostrich skin bomber jacket. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she took my measurements. Four days later the jacket was completed!! The price was much cheaper than what I see for sale online! Absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you so much, Amy Tailor!! Quality work!!!

I had a terrible experience. I took in my prom dress, did not have it ready when she said she would. When I did go pick it up she had cut all the fabric inside my dress. When I told her the work was not what I wanted she began to yell and insisted on me paying her right then and there. I was left in tears and a messed up prom dress.

She didnt finish the job of cutting the train on my gown and tried to charge me extra. I gave her the dress months ahead of my pageant and she didnt complete it when I asked i had to come in daily to make sure she worked on it.

I called her and asked if she can sew a sequin jacket. Nothing extravagant, or form fitting. Just a Kimono style. You know how much she attempted to charge me... $400 for a sequence material I bought from Joanns for $20 for 3 yards... that lady is dumb. Don’t even waste your gas coming to this place. Stay away!!

Overpriced, unprofessional, and bad customer service. I am writing this review as I am sitting here waiting for them to finish working on my clothes. Actually I should say, start working on my clothes. I called them 2 hours before I got here to ask if my stuff was ready for pickup and she said "did i tell you it will be ready by Wednesday. If i did, then its ready" RUDE. I've been here 4 times because it's right next to my house and convenient but ALL 4 times I've had to wait for them to start working on it right when I walk in. I never complain but there is no excuse especially because I called beforehand because I am very limited on time. After waiting for over 30 mins, I let her know that I had called and that she told me it was ready, when clearly it was not and she was not apologetic AT ALL. And then on top of that, I had to pay full price for it. I will never come back. Unless maybe if I had nothing to do and wanted to wait an hour and then pay them for my time. Avoid this place, you have been warned

I am only rating 1 star because 0 is not available! I went to have my suit altered. I was told my suit would be ready the morning of my event. I arrived to pick it up and was told the were just starting it and to come back in an hour. By the time the suit was ready I was late to my appointment. And to make matters worse they messed up the buttons on my sleeves of my coat ruining it! The gentleman never came to address the issue and just ran in the back of the store. This is absolutely the worst experience ever, and I will be sure to tell everyone not to utilize Amy's Alterations unless they are getting a circus outfit made!

Had a formal dress taken in and the dress was given back to me very wrinkled. Both times I went to the store, the attendant was talking on the phone to a friend and made me wait. I agree with the other review that they over charge.

I called initially to find out how much they charge to alter the original hem on my jeans up a couple of inches. The lady told me $10 however when I drove there with my 4 jeans I was told that they are $15 each. This is the perfect example of bait and switch!!!

Went in for consultation, put down deposit, came back to collect dress, dress was not on premises (without my knowledge it was taken else where). Hem not finished, and she wanted to charge double my deposit. When I told her no thank you, and tired to leave she physically barred my exit and proceeded to wrestle my dress from my hand and kick it across the room. I called the police, once they got there her tune changed. She seemed very familiar with this situation, as did the police. She is not professional, rude, and a liar.

Horrible service. I asked her to undo some straps she took up because the dress was unflattering and I found a new one. She charged $40 when the total for all the alterations was $60. Ridiculous prices plus my dress came back in very bad condition. Would not recommend.
