They have usually done okay work, but a little spendy at times for very minor repairs I could have done myself if I owned a sewing machine. A couple of weeks ago I dropped off a dress for a very minor repair for a Wednesday pick up. I went back in the following Wednesday as promised per them. I was told no it ready for Thursday pick up??? A wasted trip. When I finally picked up the dress weeks later I told the owner I was not happy about that. I suggested they should compensate for the delay. She grabbed my dress and told me to take her to court unless I paid?!! Also had previously dropped off a dress to have fixed. That repair had not been done at all!! I will NEVER take anything there again as it is not worth the hassle and arguing with the owner. DO NOT MAKE A BUSINESS PROMISE OF A PICK UP DATE YOU CANNOT KEEP!

For over $300 for altering my wedding dress, I should not have to come home and trim raw lining edges that are showing out of the sleeves, tack down fabric that wasn’t attached properly, reattach sequins that are falling off, and reattach one end of the belt that wasn’t sewn on properly. Inspect your clothing carefully before paying such an exorbitant amount of money.

I choose this place because there were so many great reviews however my experience was pretty bad. I have a suit jacket that I wanted taken in (it was with me when I was in the service, so I was very attached to it) and the inside of the sleeve was coming undone. So they made the adjustments and it was taken in perfectly, however the sleeves were shortened to where the sleeve was coming apart. I was told someone was going to call me about it. No one ever did. Disappointed is an understatement.

The business used to be good, but not anymore. Hours posted on their website are not reliable, I was hung up on before I could say hello when I called, and they extremely overcharged for a simple back zipper fix. Will not be going back.

I guess it's okay for a tailor to take buttons off an expensive jacket and keep them for themselves. She was very confrontational when I politely asked about this. A tasteless, classless abomination to Sioux Falls business!

Ruined pair of $140 selvedge jeans. They removed the entire inside selvedge edge instead of keeping the selvedge edge intact. The lady even said her son wears selvedge jeans and knew how to work on them. First pic is how the selvedge edge was before, second is after they removed it. Other pictures of cooked hems, and terrible lines and bad overall work. Not to mention they charged $40 for this work. Would recommend you look elsewhere.

It's the best place in Sioux Falls for alterations. I brought my husband's cashmere coat there and he is extremely happy with the result. I am a little short, so getting perfect hemming on my pants is important to me. They do a great job. If you have premium denims you paid lots of $$$ with inseams for a 6'0 model, Alterations by Lee will make it look like it was sewn for you. =)

At only 5'2", needless to say many items I purchase need tailoring. They are able to handle everything from a simple hem to the more complicated where a garment must be desconstructed and reconstructed at various points for the perfect fit. I have never experienced an error in either their measurements or their craftsmanship. Further, they have excellent customer service. I highly recommend.

I just picked up my suit from them for my wedding. They did exactly what I asked and it looks great. Had my jacket, pants, and shirt all tailored and only 50$. They were friendly and very very fast. I have not used anyone else in Sioux Falls but if I had to pick again I would certainly go back to them.

Would highly recommend this place if you would like alterations of your clothing. I recently had a number of pants altered (some hemmed only and some tapered only). I had both dress as well as casual pants. I am very pleased with the results. Whenever I relocate to a new city I seek and find out a good alteration place. I have been located in Toronto and New Orleans in the past and had a good place there to go for alterations. This business ranks high as far as quality and price. Also they provided the product quite quickly and did an excellent job. I just returned today with some more pants that need to be altered. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
