Eric was beyond great and wonderfully helpful! I was in a serious time crunch in getting a bridesmaid dress altered (I had taken it elsewhere and was just not happy/impressed at all), and Eric listened to me/my wants/needs for my dress and delivered perfectly (He was even able to get it done for me the same day!)! I wish I had come across The Tailor Shop earlier and had come here the first time. DEFINITELY will be back for all of my alterations in the future!

If I could give more stars I would! Lyla was just as kind and helpful as can be and I am so pleased to find a new tailor. I recently moved from Texas and am in need of pretty regular tailoring services and founds The Tailor Shop based on convenient location. Usually I am a bit hesitant describing how I like my pants/ jackets to fit because I am somewhat particular. Lyla knew exactly what I was looking for and was great at reiterating what she understood I wanted. The end product was great and finished way sooner than I had expected. I already have a few other things in mind for her to work on. As for the service....I left both visits (dropoff/pickup) feeling like I had a new pal. She is very sweet and funny and really made my visit the highlight of my day. Lyla is one of those people who really leaves a positive impression on you and send you away laughing. Go see The Tailor Shop for great alterations and tailoring and even better personal service

Despite all the 5 stars I see. I have just had the worst experience here. As far as shoe repair goes, stay FAR FAR away. If I could add pics u wouldn’t believe it, I thought my boots were ruined. I had a heel come off of one boot so he was suppose to give me new rubber heels on both to match. After the horrible job I went to a professional that explained not only did he do a horrible job but he charged $30 for a $15 job. The heels were not even, the edges were rough and not smooth, extra glue and stains were on heels. Words really can’t explain.

Very cool guy. I brought in some pants and jackets I had gotten on sale but wasn't sure about the fit. He took measurements on the pants but assured me the jackets were fine, even though he could have just as easily invented some edits. Picked up the pants today and they're great.

Lila did an excellent job altering my suits, sport coat, and pants for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended, and will be coming back. Note that the location on google maps as of this review is not completely accurate - the shop is located at the corner of Augusta St and Wilmont Ln (a two buildings to the south of where Google Maps said it was).

Eric has been my tailor for the past 4 years and I have had in handle a myriad of alterations including taking in the waist of dress trousers, tapering the leg of vintage fatigue pants, taking in the body of dress shirts, hemming just about every kind of pant, shortening sleeves on sport coats, and turning long sleeve shirts into short sleeve shirts. He has always done the work on a fast time table and is great to work with.

My son recently joined the local Civil Air Patrol Squadron here in Greenville SC. One of his uniforms, the ABU required that a couple of patches be sewn on the top of the front pockets. If anyone is aware of military regulations, the requirements for patches and exact measurements are crucial. Eric at The Tailor Shop did an absolutely amazing job getting these patches sewn on for us. And the turn around time was so fast. There will be multiple uniform items in addition to this one, as well as a dress blues uniform coming soon. Eric will get all of our business from now on. Thank you so much for your amazing work. We will be sending you some referral business as we meet new Civil Air Patrol cadets needing the same work.
