Tatyana and her mom are AMAZING!! When I received my wedding dress I was devastated. The boning had been broken, the size was tight tight tight and I couldn't sit down to save my life. When I walked into their store in Spartanburg (Staar Tailors) I was a mess.... but automatically the girl working reassured me that they could fix anything. After 4 weeks of driving up there I was told the seamstress wanted me to come in when she was there in order to figure out how to make the dress perfect. After meeting with her I learned that her daughter (Tatyana) had a store in Anderson (Stitches Alterations). I was thrilled because that was much closer to where I lived. After her mom learned that I lived near Anderson, she offered to take my dress over to her daughters store so I wouldn't have to drive as far for fittings. I could not get over the kindness that this family had offered me. Once the dress made it to Anderson I headed to Stitches where I met Tatyana. This girl and her mom are amazing. Her mom rebuilt both sides of my dress, carefully cutting and stitching around all the intricate lace details creating a dress that only fits to my shape. Once it arrived in Anderson Tatyana was able to figure out how to fix the back by taking out the entire zipper, shortening it and then sewing it back to look flawless. She was also able to fix more issues that I had and never once complained. Together this mother daughter duo built the most beautiful wedding dress I have ever laid eyes on. They never stopped working on it until I felt that it was perfect. My wedding was this past Sat and I absolutely loved ever minute I was able to be in my dress. If I need any other alterations done on anything this is the place I will be going :). Thank you so much guys!

The best place to take a wedding dress, a mother of the bride dress and bridesmaid’s dresses. Quality work, professional demeanor and comfortable atmosphere. First of several more weddings for me and I won’t go anywhere else! Also, new location has ample parking right in front!

I called this location very last minute for alterations and they were the only one out of a few to even consider my request. Not only did she do an excellent job it was excellent timing. She had to stay over to complete the job however, she completed the task with a smile. Very friendly, excellent service, and great pricing! I would recommend this location to anyone and I definitely will return my business!
