I brought in a linen suit to get tailored for my wedding a few weeks back...it was spot on. I've been to a handful of tailors in the Charlotte area and this is by far the best one. I've been coming to them for almost 2-3 years now. Jeans, suits, you name it. Family owned and their attention to detail is unmatched.

I went to this place and had 2 dresses hemmed, 2 skirts hemmed, and 1 dress taken in. When I got home, I noticed that the hem on one of my skirts was uneven. I went back in to get it fixed and they wanted to cut it even shorter and I said I didn't want it shorter. After much discussion, I said I would like a refund because I was afraid my skirt wouldn't be wearable if they made it shorter. I had told the couple that I was happy with the other items, so the skirt was disappointing. They gave me my $20 refund then told me to get out!!!!! SO RUDE! If they are going to charge $20 to get a skirt hemmed then they better do a great job. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.

Wonderful first impression, wlman was pleasant, calm, and ready to jump into action. You can tell an organized establishment when you see one, the place was tidy. I even had a prompt tailor need tight then that was handled in less than a minute. You will have all my clothing repairs from this day forth! UPDATE:FINISHED PRODUCT=WONDERFUL

While the staff at South Park Cleaners & Tailors are very nice, and convenient to The Residence at South Park, urgency is not a word in their vocabulary. It's beyond me how they have high profile clientele yet aren't able to get things done faster than 2 days? While I appreciate the how nice they are I need things done faster than that.

I would highly discourage anyone from using Southpark Cleaners and Tailors. I dropped off a recently purchased beautiful silk nightgown from I.C. London to have alterations done. When I picked up, the silk had been damaged. The owners took 3 minutes to steam the item, but were unable to resolve the issue. I spent 35 minutes at I.C. London and they were very mindful and thorough in assisting to repair the defect (which was not there at drop off to the cleaners). I returned to Southpark Cleaners and Tailors and asked for a discount. The only response was "We didn't know, we didn't know." Even though this was a service they provided and I was speaking directly to the owner, they refused to provide a discount even though the material had been damaged in their care. I think this is awful customer service. I respectfully paid for this awful service, but should have just walked out paying with my damaged item, which was an expensive piece of clothing. I would never ever return to this location.
