I brought in a black high-rise jean skirt that, at a size 24, fit my natural waist well, but was entirely too large from the hip down. I had considered returning it, but I loved it so much I couldn’t bear to part with it. So I brought it into Ne-villes and he had me try it on, pinned it and checked for my approval. I came back a mere 3 days later and had a perfect skirt! It fits like a glove and I am soooo pleased!! He really knows what he is doing, and can be trusted to take care of your garment. The skirt has decorative copper color metal rivets at each end of the pocket entrance and he asked me if it would bother me to lose them (because of how much I needed the skirt altered, the lower-outside rivets were in danger). I sadly said I really liked them, but if they had to be lost, I suppose it wasn’t the end of the world. He managed to keep them intact for me! He listens, understands, and cares that you are pleased with your experience. The attention to detail and the passion at Ne-villes are qualities that can be hard to find in our society, where everything is driven by quantity and profit-margins. Here, quality, respect of the garments, and customer satisfaction are the top priorities, and Ne-villes definitely excels!!

Neville did a fantastic job altering my wedding dress so that it was perfect on our wedding day. It was a super tricky job due to the fabrics and I had already had a bad experience with another tailor who just outright even refused to try or offer options and told me I needed to find a new dress 2 months before my wedding, but Neville took the time to look over every inch of the dress and think of a way to make it work and look perfect. He is a magician! I really appreciate his taking the time (probably 3 fittings) to make it perfect, and all at a reasonable, affordable price. I sent my husband to get his suit done there too and it turned out great as well. You can trust Neville with even the toughest alterations!!

This guy is a rock star—I needed a pair of pants altered within a couple hours due to catching a plane. He said no problem, would you like to wait. I got coffee around the corner, came back, sat down, and we talked about Jamaica where he’s from for 5 minutes while he finished the pants. Rick Star service, Rock Star quality. Wow, rarely do people exceed expectations...the Rock Star did!

I needed wedding dress alterations four weeks before my wedding. I was trying to lose weight to fit the dress, but ended up needing it let out a couple of inches. Ne-ville did an impeccable job and the dress fit beautifully when I picked it up a week later. I expected to pay more for wedding dress alterations, but his price was VERY reasonable and the service was excellent. I will be back for future alterations!

Took a banner to Ne-villes to be modified so it could be hung horizontally instead of vertically. This would involve adding fabric to the right side of the banner and changing out the rings at the corners so it could be hung as I desired. The work was done PERFECTLY and exactly as I described how I wanted it to look. GREAT JOB. I'm extremely happy I chose you!

My experiences at Neville’s have been transformative. I went in for a few minor alterations while still trying to find my style. Neville has taste and can really help you to find what works for you. Tapering, adjusting the drop, and giving feedback about what can be done to what fabrics. I’ve been in there 6-7 times at this point and each time is better than the last. This place was great!!! I had a couple pairs of shorts that had those annoying little slide- hook closure that never seem super secure and so I took both pairs in to have a button hole and button put on instead. It was perfect and affordable, definitely cheaper than new shorts!

It was two weeks before my best friend Anema's wedding and we had already ordered my bridesmaids dress twice and it didn't fit... It was too large at the top and to tight in the hip and butt area.. the dress was 46 inches in the hip area and I needed 49... The dress had to be remade but Ne-ville did it in a week!!! Very dissatisfied with our most recent service especially for never having any issues until now. We brought in some expensive brand new white Levi’s to be cuffed correctly at the ankles for the holidays. We brought the pants in clean as they were brand new and the owner even confirmed seeing no spots and once we receive the pants we see spots! Black spots on top of that. I told him these were for the holidays specifically and if we would’ve seen spots we would’ve gotten him to clean them too while he was fixing the cuffs. He has been no help after my husband came in this morning to try to get help. I called this afternoon after he turned my husband away and then he stated he could clean it tomorrow evening after we will already be traveling for the holidays. Total rip off and very unprofessional service from people we paid a lot of money to for services and they couldn’t help with this small mistake they created. We will not be back. Place up the street will have it cleaned within a few hours so he is not here to provide empathetic customer service because he could’ve fixed the mistake before we left but he feels it’s not his problem.

I took my wedding dress to Neville after a not-so-good experience at another alteration store. I knew I was in good hands when Neville spent over an hour looking at my dress and listening to my concerns. When I brought my dress in it was too large in the waste, the bodice, and it had no structure left in the top portion causing it to hang inches away from my bust (due to the prior alterations). Neville knew how to fix it and did a beautiful job. My dress was not an easy one to begin with. The dress consisted of two parts, an inner dress and an outer dress that went over top. The outer dress was comprised of delicate lace and expansive beaded details. Without prompting, Neville built an all new lining for the dress to add structure and did extensive tailoring not just to the outside dress but to the inner dress and all of its layers. Two weeks later my dress is absolutely gorgeous and it fits like a glove! He didn't cut corners and he went the extra mile to make sure it was perfect. He's meticulous in his work and the results show. If you have a wedding dress or any other item that needs to be tailored, take my advice and go see Neville! His prices are fair and you won't leave disappointed.

Talented craftsmanship, timely, great price! I brought a snow breaker jacket in to get fitted. There were many complicated aspects to the jacket. He explained in detail how he was going to fit it to ensure the pockets, ties, zipper sides, and velcro sleeves would remain functional. I was charged a much fairer price for the alterations than the place I used to bring my clothing. In a week, he had completed the alteration and had me try it on to ensure I was satisfied. I absolutely love my jacket. The fit is fantastic; slimming while still allowing for flexibility. I reccomend Ne-Villes for any alteration/tailoring needs!

I went in for alterations to a pair of pants for a wedding. I felt rushed and that he didn’t take the time to really understand what I wanted. When I received the pants back they were still long and too big in the waist. When I went to pick them up he was busy so I stepped outside to allow him an opportunity to assist his customers and all of a sudden I heard a loud knocking on the window and he threw my pants up to the window telling me to come get them. I felt it was very disrespectful to say the least. I ended up wasting $60 and still had to take the pants to another place and spent another $70. If you have other options definitely try them first before coming to this desk at the window that he has unless you’re just ok with wasting money.
