DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see the opinions of people who buy the services and products of Mr Le Alterations (Tailor) in South Carolina.

Now this firm has a rating of 3.2 stars out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 15 reviews.

You must have seen that its rating is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.

As you know, we do not usually bother to place feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

This Tailor corresponds to the category of Clothing alteration service.

Very happy with the hemming of two important dresses. I'd gotten a quote from another alterations shop that was double the price and snippy when I questioned it. I'm headed back for another hem!

I had a small fix needed for a pair of slacks on the day before Thanksgiving. Stopping in to Mr. Lee's, he fixed them on the spot and didn't even charge me. I will definitely be coming back!

Rude, damaged clothes, poor customer service, impatient, and disrespectful of unsatisfied customers. My husband took four pairs of pants to Mr. Le to be altered. He wanted the legs on each pair of pants tapered. Mr. Le pinned one leg of one pair to the correct fit and said he would use that to make the necessary adjustments on the other pairs (these were all different styles of pants). We were both skeptical of this approach, but Mr. Le assured my husband he knew what he was doing. When my husband went to pick up the pants, only the pair of pants that was pinned fit properly. When my husband requested the pants to be redone and that Mr. Le pin the fit for each pair of pants, Mr. Le became impatient and started raising his voice saying he had been doing this for a long time and that he knew what he was doing. He again only wanted to pin one leg on one pair of pants to fix these issues. He grew even more impatient as more customers arrived and my husband continued to request that he pin each leg. Eventually, he simply refused to fix the pants and told my husband to leave the store and go somewhere else. We weren't charged for the work that was originally done, but Mr. Le did leave a hole in one pair of the pants that he refused to repair. We won't be going back and suggest that others stay away.

Aweful service. He and his wife mess up one jacket and two shirts. When I addressed the issue he cursed me out. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

I've been to Mr Le several times for pants and shirts to be altered. He and his wife are professional and pleasant. The work was done well, for a fair price, and ready when promised. I will return.

Very happy with my experience here.. They are lovely people.. very king and patient with me when I brought a few complicated pieces. They do a seamless job each and every time. Highly recommend!

Daniel Reed

Does all my pants. Communication can be challenging, but there's not too much involved with making my pants shorter.

Megan Brandle

Always happy with Mr Le! I have been using him for over 5 years now and I have never had an issue. :)

All of the alteration business in Charleston were busy with graduation alterations, so I decided to give Lee Alterations a try...I could not have been more disappointed. Mr. Lee was more than willing to take my graduation dress and fix it when I dropped it off on Monday. He happily offered to expedite the process seeing as graduation was the following Saturday. I was thrilled. I went back to pick the dress up that Saturday and was left standing in the lobby for 20 minutes while I waited for Mr. Lee and his wife to attempt to find my dress. Finally, they pulled me to their back room to help look...no luck. His wife yelled at me and laughed at me, when they saw the panic on my face and I began to cry. They lost my graduation dress a week before graduation! At College of Charleston it is tradition for girls to wear white dresses, so you can see my dilemma with graduation one week away and I needed a perfect white dress that didn't need alterations. Mr. Lee gave up very quickly looking for my dress and threw $100 in cash to me to reimburse me for my loss. A few days later he called and said he found it, the client just hadn't returned it yet. Mr. Lee ignored my calls, so finally I walked in to discuss the situation, hoping he could call the client and explain the important of them returning it. Much to my surprise he said, "What are you doing here? It's done." It has now been two weeks and that client has yet to drop off my dress. Mr. Lee and his wife do not understand nor speak English very well.

Just asked if I could get a dress altered and was told no. When I asked why he said because he wanted to go on vacation.... Really? Ok sir. Enjoy your vacation

On a Tuesday. A friend told me about Mr. Lee and the work he does in alterations. I walk into his business today with a smile and was looking forward for him to some alterations on my new suits. As a business owner, you greet customers that walk into your business. I spoke first and started to explain to Mr Lee what I wanted him to do to my new suits. He was cocky, very rude and cut me off many times while explaining. He is very disrespectful. I told him about someone referred me to him. He look at me and said oh... let me see your suits you want me to do "in a nasty tone". I told him. You must be having a bad day sir. You dont talk to people or any human being very rude especially who is paying you up front for your services. If you go into a any kind of business people. You should be treated as the customer with respect. I highly would not recommend any one to go to Mr. Lee due bad customer service. It was a shocking moment because I was not expecting him to be so rude especially that was my first time in his business. I am big on good customer service. No business owner should not be rude to any new customer. It's not cool at all.

Unfortunately, they speak very poor English making it very difficult to express the kind of fit that I am looking for. It took two attempts to get a single clothing item altered to fit properly, which in total took a full five weeks. On the plus side, he didn't charge me when the first alteration wasn't done correctly.. but he certainly was pretty upset that he had to redo it.
