My husband dropped off his uniform on a Friday for some buttons, rank and service to be sewn on plus cleaned and pressed. It was due for pickup the following Tuesday. We went to pick it up on Wednesday. Upon arrival, nothing had been sewn on. We had to wait 30 minutes plus receive trash talking from the owner's daughter about another three years before any other services are needed. After traveling to Florida for the funeral, we realized the uniform had not been cleaned. $50.76 for last minute services that were literally, Last Minute and Services that were Never Done. I highly recommend you don't use this location. It's not worth your time or your dime.

I paid $70 for a bullet proof vest cover only to take it here and have them permanently ruin it by putting mismatched sized letters (1in name, 3in company name) in reflective material on both sides rather than make name plates like I asked/paid for. They told me that if I bought another one they would redo it for free (no refund, no apology). I bought another one and they tolde they didnt remember their promise to make it right!!!! After getting it back and putting the plates in I realized THEY SEWED THE VEST CLOSED! I am beyond mad! I called about it and again, no refund; jut told to bring it back and they'll fix it again.

They are FAST and friendly. They are a bit sloppy on pressing though. I took in uniform pants and shirt for "heavy" starch and a press. The pants now have several creases and the shirt definitely does not have heavy starch. They do a fantastic job on sewing badges/rank/patches on uniform items. I will not have any items pressed here again. Other than that, first rate sewing/alterations.

I took my ASUs in to have service and deployment stripes sewn on and dry cleaned. I got them back with strings left, large wrinkles in the dress shirt and sleeves of the coat, all pieces covered in lint and fur, and to top it all off, my necktie is missing. This was supposed to be the best place to go. Also, I was initially told that I could have the ribbons, etc., setup, as they had appointments available. However, when I dropped everything off, there was nothing left. This was about an hour after calling....never again!!!

The Dallmans are very rude and 'special' people. The father is an ex-grunt who gets highly offended if you don't know the precise term of what you need done to your ASUs. His daughter, Christina Dallman, tells me I had to wait my turn to pay for my stuff when IT WAS MY TURN. Also, their business is in a ghetto area with very little parking. I highly recommend taking your uniforms elsewhere. This is the truth.

The staff feels like family as soon as you meet them. Their turn around time is incredible (especially if you're in a bind). They go above and beyond to ensure you're looking sharp. The Army Retired gentlemen (co owner) will place your ribbons on your Army Service Uniform for a small fee. Prices for alterations are significantly lower than the PX on Fort Jackson. This shop is truly a hidden gem of Columbia!

I absolutely adore this place! I needed two embroidery sashes for my college graduation. I drew a picture of what I wanted and Christina worked with me on my drawing. The sashes came out BEAUTIFUL! I learned about this alteration shop through close friend. When going to take a DA photo your uniform has to be right. I never knew of anyone that would actually put all your ribbons in other brass on your uniform for you. But I am grateful to have found this alteration shop and will come whenever I need my class A uniform put together for any occasion. He also will steam the jacket for you. If you ever need any last minute help with your uniform this is the right place.
