I took a pair of suit pants in to Lam's to have the legs tapered for my daughters wedding. I took them in a week earlier and said that they would be done today. Not only could she not find the pants when I came in to pick them up, but she also had not done the work. I had to wait around while she did the work. I would ABSOLUTELY warn anyone about this establishment!!

Lam's has been my go to tailor for nearly 2 decades. They get it right at a reasonable price all the time.

Very sloppy work. I took a pair of jeans that needed a new zipper. Price was $9, I thought that was fair. Timeline 2 days, also fine. Job was done but the workmanship was unbelievably messy. Multiple sew lines, loads of threads hanging, threads from original zipper not removed but sewn over and new sew lines not straight. I am able to sew but wanted a professional job. This was not professional.

Altered a formal gown for me. I wanted an angled hemline. Rather than just say no, or criticize my wishes, she explained the various outcomes for different hemlines, and made her professional suggestions. I took her advice, and she was SO RIGHT! Professional, courteous, promt, and AFFORDABLE!

I brought in a pair of expensive slacks that was made of a delicate fabric to be hemmed. When I picked them up, they had ironed the fabric with an iron that was too hot leaving a crease and white mark on the pants that several of my friends saw. They said they would send it to a cleaner to be fixed. When I picked the pants up, they said they had never been ironed and blatantly lied, even though the daughter said they iron all pants that are being hemmed. Even though they said they would reimburse me for the pants, they said they had done nothing wrong. Keep in mind I had several witnesses that saw and heard them. My advice is all you have to do is take one look at the piles of clothes scattered every where to know this business is bad. Don't go there.
