Terrible and unsatisfactory work! Kim helped his wife pin some suit alterations for my husband. I have never seen such disgraceful work, done in a "professional" setting. Every single item was ruined! Pants legs were high and the seat of the pants were even higher. Wearing the pants was nothing shy of the way a clown should look! I don't think they touched the jacket, because they were still too big and looked pretty ridiculous with the high water pants! Given a second chance, I took him 2 pairs of sandals. Of course the shoes came back where the straps were ripped up and glued back lopsided making the shoes awkward when wearing (Nine West). For example: the left side is baggy and the right is way too tight across the foot! Another pair (Franco Sarto) that were wedges, he did the same technique-ripping them apart from the sole, but the glue he used separated the first time I wore the sandals-twisting my foot, making me trip, and of course the entire wedge separated and scraped the shoe! I took it back to him and he told me $15, when I had just paid $12 for him to fix it about a week prior. I should have been skeptical: when I was dropping them off, a biker was arguing with Mr. Kim that he had replaced his boot heel with the wrong, slippery heel! Needless to say, I did not trust to leave them again. I've wasted time and money & I will NEVER support this shop, EVER again!

Not quite sure why the low rating, maybe because the language barrier is the main concern for everyone . If you really want a detail alteration, don’t give a frustrated face to them while explaining to them etc. A little patience with them will do a lot. They’ve been here for years so they are doing some right. They have reasonable prices compared to others around town.

Took a bridesmaid dress to get the length fixed picked it up and confident that it was fixed tried it on a day before the wedding. The dress was still extremely long. Didn't even seemed like they did anything with it. Mind you they charged me 80 dollars for a very unsatisfactory job. I took it back and they fixed it that same day.

Amazing! 4 hours before attending a wedding I noticed the seam of my new dress coming apart. I drove too Kim's Shoe Repast & Alterations Saturday at the opening of the ship. I was immediately greeted by a gentleman with a very welcoming personality and smile. He called Ms. Kim to the front and explained my dilemma, not only did she take her amazing skills on her machine and sewed the seam I was concerned about but checked the entire dress and re-stiched two more areas she found. She is awesome and amazing!!!! She had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. I will be bringing all my business here and telling everyone about this alterations gem! I highly recommend you taking all your shoe and alterations need here! Oh and did I mention the prices are very reasonable. Thanks to you both on what could have been a stressful day but you made me worry free of having any wardrobe malfunctions :) I would give you 10 STARS if they had them. By the way, I had the best time at the wedding and many compliments on my dress. Many blessings to you and your continued business.
