Asked for my prom dress to be shortened and all she did was tied the bottom of the dress to the side and wrapped string around it! Ugly! Luckily my sis new someone that could and untangle it. I ended up wearing it the way I brought it to her! And I couldn't even get a refund!

Dropped off my prom dress on a Saturday, she said to come back on Friday, that it would be done around noon. Friday at 1pm she had not even started. We came back Saturday at 10 to see that she has ruined my dress in an attempt to rush it in one night.

Been two times and this place was not open during store hours. No wonder so many small businesses go under. Never trust a business who is closed during store hours. You will get burnt when the doors close for good.

If I could choose zero stars I would.. she ruined my daughters dress for my wedding.. stitching was AWFUL she was working on it when I walked in when she told me to pick up that day and proceeded to take an extra 35 min while I waited with 3 kids. And she cut the outside of the dress too short so the bottom showed a good foot or more. She took it in only on one side so now it's angled funny and the zipper is now falling off. Also she cut off the straps to hang the dress back up so when we took it out it was in a ball at the bottom of the bag because it wouldn't stay on the hanger! Make your own decision but I will be asking for my money back!

I came to Josephine's off the good reviews. I just picked up my new pants today after requesting a hem and the waist let out a half inch. The material around the belt and back seam was cut and picked, the thread did not match and the stitch lines were not straight. The pants are ruined and right before my daughters wedding. Very expensive and upsetting experience.

The woman that runs this is so kind. I had a bridesmaids dress I needed done in a hurry, which the dress was about 2 sizes too big. She took it in for me and less than a week had it fitting perfectly for me. She only charged me 40$ too! She does great work! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for great alterations at an affordable cost.
