This place is a gem! They are always so polite, helpful and friendly. Their work is always impeccable and timely (usually a week or less turnaround (might vary if during busy seasons)). I've used them for alterations, seam repairs and zipper replacement. This place is wonderful and I whole heartedly recommend. Pro Tip: they only accept cash or check.

I had a 15-year old suit of mine heavily altered and updated into something modern and better fitting. The tailor was extremely helpful in making all of my requests happen, even the ones I didn't think were possible, and the finished product was exactly as I had envisioned. He also turned around the order very quickly. My wife and I were so impressed that she immediately took in a dress of hers to be altered, and although it was a very difficult fabric to work with, and she needed the dress in 2 days, he was able to make it happen. Great service.

I rarely post anything online yet alone reviews, so here it goes. I took some nylon webbing to be stitched and some velcro added to this item, and what was returned to me looks like the work of a 5 year-old. I did not make a scene as other customers where present and need not be involved. The first pic shows both side of the stitching so crooked that it actually goes off the material, so it it not attached there. The second one is the same as the smooth part of the velcro is not even sewn on , and there are loose threads everywhere. The last pic shows that they cant even sew a simple straight 1 1/2 inch seam. This is just poor, shoddy and unprofessional work. Go elsewhere.

I used this alterations shop for years until I moved. They do a great job and the prices are reasonable. They used to create my designs for me. Sometimes I just needed something hemmed. Other times I would change one thing into something totally different and they always did a fantastic job. I'm actually taking some stuff there today even though I'm an hour away because I trust their work.

I chose this alteration shop first since it got good reviews and it appeared as thogh they did alot of work on wedding and formal dresses. I took a dress that needed to be let out in the top only. They had me try the dress on then took a quick look and said to take the dress off so he could look at the seams. He did exactly that, looked at the seams and said "Sorry we cannot help you, not enough material in the seams to let out.", then dismissed me with a smile and turned to his next customer, that was apparently a regular. I got no suggestion as to what could be done, if anything. I got in my car and immediately called Lee's Tailors and the the lady that answered was very friendly and helpful, and had several ideas as to what could be done. The dress is now there being altered. The only reason I gave Hanna's one star is because he dismissed me with a smile,,,,,,,or was that a smirk?

Absolutely wonderful! Spectacular service and extremely kind people. I took my wedding dress here to be altered because it was a few sizes too big, now it fits like a glove. HIS BEADING WORK IS IN A LEAGUE OF ITS OWN! I was so nervous about getting it taken in where the beading was, but it looks like nothing was touched. The prices are wonderful too! I will go back to Hanna's Alterations for every alterations need!

I’m very picky and he took his time and made sure he understood everything I wanted done and even gave advice on what I should do with certain things. I will continue to come here for his services!! Hanna's alterations customer service is wonderful and they alter fairly quick, however their prices aren't reasonable. I had a simple bridesmaid dress that only my bust area needed to be fitted tighter and they took off 4 inches of the length of the dress and adjusted my straps. my total for that was over 100 and that is ridiculous. pls save your money and go elsewhere

BRING YOUR CLOTHES, DRESSES, FORMAL GOWNS HERE! I bought a wedding dress that was 3 sizes to big and brought it to Joseph and he worked wonders! My dress fits perfectly and I can not tell that it has been altered-no loss of detail at all. I would recommend Hanna's Alterations to anyone looking for quality alterations that are absolutely affordable. In addition the customer service I was given was amazing-my wedding dress was done in 1 week! 1 week, people, thats amazing! I was also running late to both fittings and Joseph kept the shop open for me. I am very very happy with my experience here. HUGE fan.

I got my wedding dress altered there. The turnaround time was extremely quick and the prices were good, but the quality was pretty poor. I insisted that the dress was too big in the waist, and he convinced me otherwise. It has an illusion back, so now that it is not form fitting you can see straight down the back of it. When I came to pick up the dress he rushed me out of there and assured me it looked great. I tried it on again when I got home and realized that the hem is uneven, the bustle is about to fall apart as it's a tiny piece of thread holding a really heavy train together, the entire dress is off center and I have to twist it in order to get it to hang straight down, it does not fit in the waist, and there is a place on the dress where the lace was cut in half and it's now frayed on the side. I am having to get another alterations business to fix it. If I had not been rushed out, I would have addressed these issues with him, but I was not given that opportunity. It is also concerning that they require payment in cash, so there's no paper trail. I'm a pretty laid back person and am not super particular, but I'm still not happy with the appearance of the dress and wish I would have taken it elsewhere from the beginning. This place may be better suited for simple alterations, but not wedding gowns.

If anyone is looking for a great alterations shop, please go to Hanna's off Woodruff Rd. My wedding dress, which I need in a week, was still one size too big and had other issues from the previous alterations shop. Hanna was able to make my dress perfect and correct the mistakes of the other shop!

The owner asked me when I needed it by, I told him a week and he said no problem. He's very friendly. I would definitely recommend this business.

Awesome! Brought in a maxi skirt for a wedding. Needed the waist taken in quite a bit and about 3” off the hem. He charged me only $50 and had it completed in a week. He was very friendly in the process too. Highly recommend.

I brought my wedding dress here to have it altered and was nervous because I needed about 6 things done to it but they did an excellent job. I'm very happy with it and with the time and price. I even asked for something else to be done after trying it on after the initial alterations and they had it done the next day and it was perfect! Very professional and a sweet couple owns it, I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I took an expensive wool coat here to have it tailored. The gentleman who runs the shop was very nice and accommodating, he brought the sides in twice to get the fit just right. The price was fine. My problem is with the quality of work and attention to detail. The stiching was a little rough and the serged edges stopped an inch short with loose fabric. After I pointed it out he added a few more stitches, but to have it the way I want it I will have to fix it myself. Like I said, the people were very nice but if you are looking for a tailor with attention to detail this probably isn't the best place. I do tend to be very picky though.

I had a great experience with Hanna's Alterations. My situation was a bit unique, because my husband and I had 2 weddings, one in America and one in England, so I had 2 wedding dresses to be altered. The price I paid for both dresses to be altered was what I was expecting to pay for just 1! They were also done very quickly, in approximately 3 weeks, and fit perfectly after the alterations were made. I couldn't have been happier with everything!

I waited until the very last minute, as always, to get my alterations done and they were so kind to me. He said he could have it done the very next day! When I first walk in he asked if I had my shoes, which I didn’t, so he told me to call someone at home and see if they could measure the length of the heels I would be wearing and nobody was home. He still was very patient with me. HE apologized to ME and only charged me $35 for my alterations. I HIGHLY recommend Hanna’s Alterations!

I originally bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal. When I took it in to David's bridal to get altered they told me it couldn't be fixed so I came to Hanna's. They were amazing and easily bustled my dress and added a lace up corset back all within three weeks. Their customer service is unmatched and this is the only place I'll ever bring my items to be altered. Their prices are reasonable and quality of work is excellent!
