Wonderful service! Incredibly reasonably priced he was very professional. I needed a dress taken in and hemmed for my formal. I took it in on monday and needed it by friday, he did everything right in front of me in less than 20 minutes. Other places told me they’d charge a rush fee or they couldn’t have it done. Would definitely go back for anything else i need! Cash Only!

I needed some pants hemmed for a groomsman suit, found this shop and had a fantastic experience. I forgot to bring dress shoes with me for measurement, and I didn't realize he didn't take card. I ran back home to get my checkbook (and dress shoes and the suit jacket at his suggestion). I was gone for 10 minutes, and when I got back he had already hemmed the pants. Tried them on with dress shoes, and to my inexperienced eyes, they looked like a perfect fit. Eric said they were a little off and redid the hem to get them really perfect. He didn't charge me extra for the trouble of doing the hem twice (despite not bringing dress shoes for the first fit being 100% my fault), and he pressed the pants and jacket for free. I ended up talking with him for another 30 minutes after that. He's super friendly, and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work just from hearing him talk about the job. Also, I recommended him to a friend needing the same work done. He just went today and told me he also had a great experience there. A few notes to remember: He only takes cash or check. His sign says "By Appointment." I got lucky and he wasn't that busy, but if you want to be safe, call ahead and make an appointment.

He's a very kind man. I was able to give him my dress pants which I wanted altered in more than one way, and he actually worked on it right then and there. I was able to try them on and he'd adjust it accordingly to what I wanted. This happened like 3 times. Within the matter of about an hour and a half, I was actually able to bring the finished product back home.

I went to him with a dress shirt I needed slimmed. He did the whole job immediately, while I was there, and was very professional about it. I had a great experience. I needed a pair of jeans taken in at the waist. I first went to Davis Alterations and they told me it would normally take them 2 weeks but since they were going on vacation it would take 3, so I left and went to Eric’s. He had me in and out in 15 minutes and told me to come pick it up the same day!! He put some darts in and now the jeans fit great (it cost 15$) and he has a fun personality.

Eric's a great guy and tailor. I had him hem a tux pantsuit for me 3 and half a years ago with no problems. I went in the other day (3 and half a years late rmind you) and he remembered me, that i had been in before! Crazy (no I'm not weird looking or memorable). Anyway, that impressed me. I had another pair of pants that needing hemming and he took care of it while I waited. Eric is very passionate about his profession and loves to share little tidbits about how this is made or that is made and what to look for to know if something is made well. To the other reviewers that have had a problem leaving items and getting them done on time I can't really speak to that as he's always done mine while I wait (simple pant hemming). But my wife had a dress altered a few years ago and we got back in time with no problem. Small data point I know but he _can_ get stuff on time. I think he sometimes takes on more than he can chew would be my guess. Also, he is cheap, too cheap I think. He charged me just $16... I gave him $20 I felt so bad. He should charge more, save the difference and hire an assistant. He really should be running a much larger shop for as good as he is, but oftentimes those very skilled in their craft don't have a good business instinct (as in how to grow the business). But maybe he's happy being a one man shop and there is nothing wrong with that either, I just know he could grow it if he wanted to.

BRING CASH. A pair of pants I own ripped at the bottom below the zipper. I came to him and he fixed it right away. Very nice guy and likes to tell stories. He doesn’t accept cards so bring cash. He does a good job though!

CASH ONLY! The people who complain about Eric being rude are probably used to having their asses kissed elsewhere in their lives. He's from Africa, and can come across as being a little short, but he's a fair, honest, and competent businessman that does a great job. He takes care of simple jobs like hemming usually on the spot, and charges great prices. I can't say whether or not he could do major alterations, because off-the-rack stuff is usually perfect on me, but if you take something to him, he will let you know immediately if he can do it, and what it will cost. There are thousands of garments in his shop, so he's obviously busy, and may not be the fastest guy around for major work, but if he says he can do it, he will get it done eventually. Bring dress shoes when you're having pants hemmed. Bring cash. No cards.

I was a new customer who came in with dresses which needed hemmed. The gentleman working was annoyed to have to deal with me. He told me he didn’t have time for me on that day and asked me to come back. I understood and left my dresses and came back on the day he asked me too. The same gentleman was working and was again the same, annoyed, when I walked in. He asked what I needed and I told him he asked me to come back on this day. Again he was annoyed and told me he didn’t have time for me. I politely asked for my dresses back and told him I would go elsewhere. I would not go to this tailor. The shop is obviously too busy.

Great service and fair prices. This was the first time I have gone to his shop; and he appeared to be a very busy man. Does everything himself right there in the shop I had a pair of pants I needed hemmed up, and when I walked in he was helping another customer He went right to work on my pants when the other customer was finished. He stopped his other work to get me out the door in only a few minutes since I only had the pants. Decent amount of parking as well.

I received quick and friendly service from Eric. He went the extra mile and provided me with suggestions for fitting my suit and shoe recommendations. He also provided me a replacement hanger to hold up my suit to ensure that my pants didn't fall out while I was transporting the suit. Great guy, fast service, and reasonable price. I had my sleeves shortened and had a no break placed onto my pants for $50. Came in Saturday, picked up Sunday.

I was told to come in 1 week after I dropped the clothes off they were not ready a few days later same it took 2 weeks from the time I dropped it off which is reasonable. He is a really nice guy pretty frank but nice. Also he did a wonderful job on the items I dropped off.

If you want excuses, condescension, more excuses, an exorbitant amount of time wasted, told to buy your own zipper down at the joann fabrics but he never used it, and then told finally that the needle broke and he wont be getting any more needles till next year then this is the place for you! Real bummer Eric I wish you could have put a simple zipper on a jacket.

He basically turned a significantly oversized shirt I ordered by mistake into a perfectly fitting custom shirt quickly. Also very reasonably priced. Terrible service. Rarely finishes when he says he's going to. Doesn't call to say he's going to be late. On multiple occasions I have shown up and my items aren't ready and won't be ready for an additional week or more. I refuse to go back.

1. Eric is not that pro. He only can do some basic job, he can't trim you blazer, tailor the sleeves from shoulders etc. 2. He always delays. He always miss the date he promises to you.
