Quality of work done was good. However she promised just one week delivery on 2 different occasions and it took her about 2 weeks to complete each one. I guess it’s because a lot of people go there and she is only one person working the entire business. So it could just be.like a great restaurant; expect to wait! Sweet lady too.

I brought a dress here about a week ago that needed the hemline fixed quickly. Ms. Eiko fixed it right there for me on the spot. It was done within a few minutes. She is a very sweet woman and does excellent work. I work right off Dorchester road so it is very convenient to stop by her shop after work. I highly recommend Eiko's Dressmaking& Alterations!

Ms. Eiko is a gem. She's the nicest, most pleasant woman you'll ever meet. She was very helpful with me and my suit. She did a great job hemming my pant legs and adjusting the waist. I picked them up the next day.

So I went here to get my bridesmaid dress altered here. Very little work was done to my dress and it costed me $133. She hemmed the bottom and sis a little work up top. At least I thought she did. She took the padding out. But the dress still didn’t fit my chest. I told the other bridesmaids about the price and they were shocked. Because we only paid $99 for the dress and the alterations didn’t really change much on the dress. I paid more for the little bit she did on the dress than the actual purchase for the dress. While everyone spent $60 to have there’s altered I made a BIG mistake and paid $133!!! The bottom that’s she hemmed was so jacked up. All I can say is lesson learned!!! It was overpriced and job wasn’t good.

Excellent service. Awesome with military uniforms. Directly across from JBC. Getting in and out of the parking lot is pretty tough, but her prices are fair and she does great work.

I think Alterations by Eiko is a little cheaper than on base and you get your uniforms back quicker. I was a dedicated customer to this place because of the friendliness and quickness of this store. I haven't had anything done wrong on my uniforms there. All I hear on base at Charleston AFB is to take your stuff there and other good things. They do good business and have a lot of alterations to do for military and civilian clothing, and I have no idea how they do it so fast and good. I'd still be taking my uniforms there, but I just got stationed at Scott AFB, IL. She was telling me about a cleaning she can have someone do if you stained your ABU's (Airman Battle Uniform) for $10, but I never tried it...maybe good to check out if you see her.

I had my culinary uniform altered her and I plan to have a special dress fitted also. She is so kind and patient. The location is close to the military base and on a good road but allow time for travel. Small personal shop with personal care. Highly recommended by my friend for his uniforms.
