I took my beloved vintage (late 1960’s), made in USA, Woolrich prime northern down filled vest to the dry cleaners as a last ditch effort with little hope of a resurrection. After splashing pot roast oil on it I immediately treated it with a stain remover and washed per instructions. I was so disappointed when it came out looking no better. I then proceeded to wash and dry THREE more times along with scrubbing the effected area to no avail. After all this washing I was really upset after noticing the down filling had lost a great deal more of it’s loft. I thought for sure it was ruined. I just picked it up and I’m absolutely stunned! Looks like new and puffier than it’s been in decades! I rarely write a review but this certainly calls for one. I definitely recommend this place and will go back. IMMENSE thanks to the expert/experts responsible for this little miracle!
