Mr & Mrs K's does excellent work. I had four women's pants to go with pant suits altered which brought them from a size 10 to a size 6. The work was excellent and my pants fit comfortably and look great. I highly recommend them!

Found Mr. and Mrs. K’s after conducting a web search. Incredible surprised and happy! This is a family business with old-fashioned values that are so very hard to find. Focus is on the customer, not just making the sale. Every request was answered with “Yes, we can.” Service is personalized and pleasant, and it’s obvious they are really good at what they do. It was such a pleasure working with Mary and Tony (and Mr. K) to find the perfect, well-tailored suit…at a great price! Even though we requested tailoring within a short time frame, they finished ahead of schedule. They offer great selection and no pressure, but years of expertise. Their confident and helpful demeanor provides the guidance one needs when suit shopping, especially for a special occasion or job interview. We had shopped several other retailers prior to our visit and there was simply no comparison in value or service. Finding Mr. and Mrs. K’s means we don’t have to shop around; we’ll return and are confident we will find exactly what we need. If you are looking for a great suit at a great price and fit, save yourself time and aggravation and shop Mr. and Mrs. K’s first!

I went to Mr. & Mrs. K's with a very baggy, and what I thought was unfixable, suit. My expectations were low, but I figured it was worth a shot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly man who kindly asked how he could help me. I explained the problem and he said it would be no problem. He took me in to take measurements and was very conversational, professional and polite. The suit was finished days ahead of schedule, which was a pleasant surprise, as well as the (possibly overly) reasonable price. I was extremely pleased with the work and have already raved about Mr. & Mrs. K to all of my friends. I wholeheartedly intend to go back next time I need tailoring--the price and speed is unmatched. Thanks a lot!!

I read the reviews and I've come to the conclusion that some people can just be habitually hard to please. I purchased two suits there for two weddings, and let me tell you - GREAT customer service, friendly and spot on with their tailoring! They will bend over backwards for you, they'll even make a trip or two past Boston to get something needed in a hurry. Just a quaint little shop with excellent tailoring and probably the only place where you can get a top of the line three-piece Italian suit, with a shirt and tie, everything pressed, for roughly $160! If I need another suit, I'll go WAY out of my way to buy one there! Definitely recommend!

I love to support small business, but this was awful, and it gets weird. The inside of this place is small, dingy, and smells like a smoker's basement (with an extra gallon of cologne on the side). I was greeted with a smile from a male. (*EDIT* : some parts of my review were requested to be taken out by a third party after they went back to get something fixed. They owners did not seek to make contact or remedy the situation, they just wanted me to edit a review. So, in an effort to be sensitive to all individuals and circumstances, this review now contains only information on the physical building, service, and selection. It no longer contains how I perceived an employee represented the business, though it greatly impacted my experience negatively.) I went to try things on when the suits came in( a few day before the wedding.) He then asked me to go into the back office where there was one small changing room, with a curtain split down the middle and didn't close right, to try on my pants. The scent thickend as i got closer to the room. I entered, closed the curtains as best I could, and changed into the pants. I proceeded to let him measure and finish what he needed to before paying him the cash and booking it out of there without looking back. Oh yeah, they only take cash. . . you know, like an ice cream truck. The suits were fitted months ago and they just came in four days before the wedding. We all had to get there in a small time frame to get fitted for a final tailoring. Not sure if they are done yet, and tomorrow is the wedding. OH and they ordered the wrong shirts...those aren't in yet either. The ties were wrong as well, and there was a discrepancy/ miscommunication with the fact that the groom wanted vests but didn't get them. Those were last minute as well. My sister and future brother-in-law don't need the added stress at this point. I could go on about this place, like how %50 of their merchandise looks like Salvation Army donations, but i won't. Please Save yourself the headaches, the stress, and the anger. Go to another small business you deserve better. I understand they will read this again. I've heard that the business used to be a great "mom and pop" place. Though my preceding review came from a place of fresh-wounded frustration, I wish they will make a few changes. If they did a simple cosmetic remodel (bright paint, organize, remove old carpet, and open the door in nice weather), the place would be more pleasant to walk into and intern set a fresh atmosphere. If they installed a legitimate changing room door. If they accept debt and credit cards. By the time i, as a customer, have to get in my car and go to the nearest ATM, i am already considering other options. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt in that the are very busy, but they needed to have our things done much sooner than they did. If they can focus on these things as just being pleasant to their customers, I'd give them more business in the future. However, my 1 star rating must stand for now because i genuinely feel like i have a 1 star experience. I myself had gotten married a few months before my sister and had a 5 star experience with a different company that i have to compare this to.

I was very disappointed by my experience with Mr. and Mrs K. I had my designer jeans hemmed, but the stitching on them did not match the rest of the jeans. I asked to replace the zipper on a dress, but it was never worked on after the 6 weeks. When I asked about the dress, the person there made excuses and complained about the work being difficult and his own quote for doing it. I was looking to purchase a black suit, and the same person said it would take a week to bring some suits in that were my size for me to try on. He never called me back. I have since taken the dress back to have it repaired by someone else, and I purchased a suit somewhere else.
