The Joe the Tailor staff is always so welcoming and helpful. I always bring my suits and clothes their for alterations and I am never disappointed with the results. The quality of the alterations is great and lasting.

I have been going to this place for a very long time and their work has been consistently great. I am always satisfied with their work so I decided to have my wedding dress altered here. Even with the short notice I gave them, their work was well beyond my expectation! I highly recommend.

I have been using Joe's since I moved to Taunton over 14 yrs ago. I have had everything from hemming jeans, altering wedding, prom, and graduation dresses, to just having some general rips in shirts and other random items. I have been happy about everything from the price to the amount of time needed to complete a job. The staff are very nice, understand what you need, and I have not had to return with a complaint or a problem with their work. I wish more cities/towns had these small owner owned places that know you and care about their reputation. I hope they stay as long as they can do the work! Thanks again to Joe the Tailor for being an excellent business.

I definitely recommend this place for any alteration you need from a simple tear to proms and wedding dresses. The prices are very fair and the work is always excellent.

Everytime I've had anything fixed or altered their it comes apart and is ruined! Very high prices and long waits! I'm disgusted with how many dresses they've ruined of mine I've tried taking then back year after year to get them fixed but now one broke the strap right off I don't know why they even touched the straps when I just wanted it shortened! But now I don't know how it's going to be able to be fixed and they've already charged me more than the dress cost to begin with! I'm disgusted I'd give 0 stars but to write a review you have to give at least 1 star!

Joe the tailor does really good work! In my experience the seamstress is very helpful and skilled and gives good advice on what alterations should be done on my suits to make it look nice and make it fit!

My last minute prom dress was did not fit me at all, but I was able to get it altered here. The workers were super accommodating and they helped so much. The prices were super fair and the dress turned out beautiful in time for my prom!

I have used them before in the past and they did beautiful work. The new "wedding seamstress" they have working there now... let's just say if you bring your wedding dress to her make sure you have another dress on reserve. I bought a mermaid trumpet dress with a small train in to get taken in and hemmed. I received a straight dress cut to my ankles. Well, the front of the dress was to my ankles, the back of the dress was hemmed higher. And that was after I had to come back two other times to pick up my dress because first they misplaced it and couldn't find it. Understandable. Then I came back and it wasn't done. (I dropped the dress off two weeks ago.) Ok, finishing touches maybe. Needless to say I'm trying everything to save this dress but still ordered the dress in a different color (because of course white dresses this time of the year sell out fast. ) THIS WAS ON APRIL 8, 2017. So good luck, prom season is around the corner.
