I never dealt with a business with such horrible business ethic. The place got recommended to me but I will not recommend it to anyone else. First off, they had my dress for 3 weeks. I only want to know the price and they could not provided that for me when I dressed the dress in front of them. NOT EVEN AN ESTIMATE! I called a week after dropping my dress off and they didn't EVEN START WORKING ON MY DRESS. They said they would start working on it that week. Only a few days before the event I had to where the dress I called her and they told me the dress was done but did not even have the price. There was a confusion in the price. I paid $135 for my dress. I would of never gotten it done if she had given an estimate. She never gave me a receipt and when I called asking for one she need to add it to the first receipt. When my mom heard the price she called to speak to her. My mom as not arguing and Emily yelled at my mom and hung up on her. When I called for a receipt she made it really difficult for me. She hung up the phone on me a couple of times when I was not even arguing with her. When I went to her store she insulted me by telling she wished she never met me and pushed me out the store. My dress might of come out nice but never EVER will I go back to Emily's Alternation.

I highly recommend Emily's Alterations for any clothes you need fixed, altered etc. Emily is such a sweet lady. She takes her time to make sure that your clothes alterations will be perfect. I love the services here and will bring my clothes to her all the time.

First time going there and let me say Emily is amazing! Prom season is so overwhelming but she was always smiling and making sure we were not stressed at all! She even gave my daughter a ride home!! We'll def be going to her next year!

If i could give this person no star i would. Emily has the worst customer service ever! Her attitude completely sucks! Reading all these reviews about her makes me believe either you are related to her, a friend, or she paid you to write something nice. I will never recommend her to anyone!!

I sent my son down there with a minor alteration needed on a costume for Halloween. She said to come right down, since she was closing soon. My son returned with nothing but good things to say about Emily and her fine work on his costume. Also the price was so low, my son gave her double what she asked. She is a great local resource. I recommend her with out reservations.

I LOVE these ladies! Emily and Dahlia (?sp?) are just amazing and about the kindest and most caring two women! I came in with my wedding dress, which was a sample, to have it cleaned and for alterations . This dress was filthy when I brought it in!!!!!! They were concerned the cleaner would not get it clean enough so Dahlia did it herself and IT CAME OUT AMAZING!!!!!! I couldn't believe it was the same dress. I plan to bring all future alterations to these wonderfully and exceptionally skilled women

I tried Emily's because it was recommend to me and it's close to where I live. But, I will never go here again. Bad service! The owner Emily is very unprofessional. How she stays in business is beyond me. Not friendly, far from courteous and lacks any sense of customer service. I had a small hem done to a dress of mine. She charged 30 dollars for a simple hem. A little expensive if you ask me, but, whatever I didn't stress about it. What did bother me is how she kept referring to me as a "little girl" She actually said "put your heels on little girl" I'm a 28 year old women, so saying that to me is HIGHLY inappropriate. I mean, I don't think she would appreciate it if I called HER an "old lady". What also bothered me is it took 3 weeks to get my dress back, which she didn't even call to tell me it was ready, I had to call her. Talk about forgetting about your customer. Finally, when I came in to try on my dress after she hemmed it, I figured I'd ask her some questions about my dress and how much she took off and if I should go shorter on the train of my dress. At this point, she pauses, and rudely says, "look, I measured you correctly." And she pulls out her ruler and starts showing me how tall my heels were from the dress, I said that's fine, I'm sure you did, all I'm saying is I have the right to know my modified measurements--taking into account I'm paying for this service. I tried to explain to her, I understood that the train of a dress is supposed to be longer then the front all I wanted to know is if I should go shorter. She simply just couldn't be bothered. Disappointing!!!!

I've been coming here consistently for a few years now. Suits, pants, even a leather jacket. Whether it's a taper or a hem Emily and her team always do a great job. They will take an incredible amount of time fitting you to your garment before making an alteration. Not to mention Emily is a sweet and very kind woman. Worth every penny. I even drive out of my way to go there.

She had my dress for 2 weeks and didn't start working on it till the week it was due. Her attitude is terrible and her overall store looks like a trash with clothing laying around everywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. She invades personal space and lied multiple times about my dress and when it will be done.

I buy and sell vintage and needed a 1930s tuxedo repaired quickly & expertly. What an amazing job she did at such a fabulous price. No other place wanted to touch it. It was worn at a high end wedding and they were thrilled with it too. II now use her for everything. Fast, friendly, talented, with reasonable fees. COuld not be happier enough with this business
