Very rude. I walked in with a shirt that was a gift and has sentimental value but that was too big so I needed it shortened and cut from the sides. The lady behind the counter seemed rude but I didn’t think much of it. You never know who is having a bad day or if that’s just the way they are. She gave me the receipt and it said $40. I’ve never paid that much for a shirt alteration. So I just looked at it and asked to double check I got the right amount. She said yes, I told you it would cost. And before even giving me a chance to respond she handed me back the shirt and said nothing. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone that rude anywhere in a while, from the way she was rude beginning to end. I took it to a nearby tailor and they said $30 and explained to me that it’s $15 for shortening it and then the other $15 is for the sides. I’m never going back to Comey’s again. I just moved into the area and was looking for a nearby place for alterations. Well they just lost a customer.

What a treasure this establishment is. Great tailoring - par excellence and super cleaners for shirts, dry-clean items and home goods. The owners work hard to ensure that you have what you need. Sue fixed a cocktail dress that Norstroms tailoring messed up. Plus a the last minute the ironed a dress my mother wore to my sons wedding and my son's suit that did not survive a plane rid. Always willing to go above and beyond. I am so pleased to have these services so close to home.
