REVIEWS OF Q Clothier IN Oklahoma

I've been waiting close to seven months now for a custom order of shirts. And, while the wait time is above average, this is not outside my normal dealings with Q. Since beginning to shop at the store in 2016, I've probably placed around two dozen orders, and to my knowledge, every single one has come in with something wrong: from needing minor alterations to having been made completely wrong. I'll start with shirt orders, because those are the most commonly messed up items. Q's clothiers pride themselves on taking full measurements and having your card on file so that everything should always fit the same way. However, I've had short sleeve shirts come in with sleeves with more than 3/4 difference in link and slope, added inches to the bottom, and plackets on sport shirts that magically went from 9 inches to 11, making them look like oversized bibs. Button counts on short sleeve shirts have magically changed, as have proportions. Templates have been lost, necessitating remakes on multiple occasions. I've even been asked to send a previously made shirt to their factory so they could see how they made it before. Turn around time is normally 4-6 weeks on shirts. I'm now hovering at over half a year. The shirts have been made wrong 3 times, and compensation or a refund was never offered. Speaking of a refund, if they mess up an order, don't even think about asking for one. I previously ordered to jackets, and about 10 weeks after not receiving them, I found out that after being promised they were on their way, one was never ordered because the fabric had been depleted. I went back and forth with two separate employees, including the general manager, FOR TWO stress filled weeks regarding a refund, and when I finally thought it was settled, I was informed since the order had been placed so long ago, commissions had gone out, and it would be easier to pick something else. I will say this, I was comped a jacket, but this is just another example of the endless mess that is trying to get a correct order. While I was in-store working on my comped jacket, another gentleman came in asking about sweaters he ordered A YEAR AGO and never received, and I personally have two other friends who have shopped here and dealt with this same level of run around. I've ordered ten pairs of pants, and each pair had to be tailored - not something you expect from an expensive custom pant. What I've most enjoy about Q are their jackets, which rarely come in on time. The fabric selections are amazing, when they wind up being in stock - though in my experience, you don't know until weeks after you place an order, and I've experienced linings being out of stock months after placing an order and having to rebuild a jacket. Bottom line, the fabrics and price points are phenomenal, but the service, timing, and follow through is awful. What's the point in ordering a Spring wardrobe in March or April if it doesn't arrive until September, because your factories don't know how to make shirts or pants? Spencer Stone and Steven Giles have custom clothing, as do many new locally owned stores. Give your business to them. If you need suits at a decent price point, call a Tom Jones rep for Holland and Sherry. The mental strain you'll save will be worth it. And you'll get what you paid for - and on time! I will say this: a store employee once made some very bigoted and homophobic remarks in front of several customers, myself included, and she was let go several weeks later. I do applaud them for that. However, they really need to get their chain of command and factory workers in line if they expect to stay in business in the Oklahoma marketplace. Apologies are wonderful, but after a few dozen times, they become empty words. I'm hoping they can eventually make those words mean something.

Incredible staff all well trained and helpful when it comes to shopping for custom and off the rack clothing. With this being a mens store, I'm clearly not shopping here, but know several people who have. And they can't. stop. talking. about it! If you haven't gone custom yet, stop waiting. Speaking from a girls point of view, we love a good tailored suite. Not to mention the store is gorgeous and a great addition to Classen Curve.

I picked up my new shirt yesterday evening and for my 1st time with them I think it’s pretty fantastic. I knew I wanted a custom shirt, but didn’t know much else. Rachel helped me navigate the mountains of fabric selections for what turned out to be a new favorite in the closet. It came in a reasonable time with no adjustments needed.
