First they were rude. Then they were cruel. I had a wedding to go to this weekend, and I was wanting to get 4 pants hemmed. Googled to find BH Tailor and thought I would give it a shot. I first called them to ask what time they closed and they told me 6:00pm. I hung up, and plugged in the location into my GPS, which told me that I would be arriving right at 6:00pm. I immediately called them back in order to explain the dilemma. I began by saying, "Hi, I'm the guy that just called you to ask about your closing time..." and before I could even explain why I had called back, I was yelled at, "I TOLD YOU ALREADY, WE CLOSE AT 6PM! LISTEN!" I was shocked and appalled because he didn't even allow me to finish my sentence. I should have just hung up, but I decided to try and not let it get to me. I then said, "Yes, I already knew that, but I would be arriving right at 6pm. Would that still be okay, or should I come on another date?" His attitude immediately changed and he said, "Oh, yes! That's okay. We will wait for you." Thinking everything was okay, I thanked him and continued on my way to their location. I pulled up to their parking lot right at 5:58pm after driving way out of my way only to find all their lights off and the door locked. I was so furious, especially since I drove out of my way to get there, got there before their 6pm closing time, and was told that they would 'wait for me'. First yelled at, then deceived. Never written a review before, but the quality of their customer service deserved this one. Took my pants to another location that closed at 6:30pm just a few miles from their location.

Very good prices. I got 2 pairs of Jean's done in less than a week. The women was also very nice and not pushy when I was describing the issue with my jeans

AMAZING. this man is so sweet and encouraging at this shop. I was in a pretty big predicament with a bridesmaids dress that was ordered online, and he worked MAGIC. I was told at a prior tailor that the dress looked horrible on me and nothing I could do would fix it. The dress I ordered was apparently specially made, and came in too small. After being told by the company that they could not help me, besides sending me extra fabric (that I had to purchase) I took it into this shop hoping a miracle could have been made. I read reviews about this shop and decided to give it a go, and now i’ll never go anywhere else. I took the dress in on a Monday, and he had it ready by Tuesday at 5. You won’t regret using this shop as your tailor for any occasion.

First time I have been here, was greeted by a very nice gentleman who quickly and very precisely put pins into a suit I needed taken in. He was very kind, very knowledgeable and asked me how quickly I needed the suit! Highly recommended.

I highly recommend BH Tailor!!! They have always done an impeccable job, remember me by name and are always welcoming. They will keep your old jean hem and reattach it so that it looks original. Their prices are very reasonable and so is their turnaround time. I recently moved and still drive 10 miles out of my way to take my clothes to them! Not sure what happened with the guy who says he had a bad experience. I have been taking my clothes to them for years and that doesn't sound like them at all.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! They were literally able to fix my very delicate dress within a night and did amazing on the details and the cost was very reasonable for the amazing work they did for me. I am definitely taking all my clothes to this shop for forever. ❤️

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but in this case the situation is warranted. I would have appreciated being able to see a review like this so that I would not have stepped into BH tailor shop. My background: Over the years I have had a few tailors, most of whom I’ve been very happy with. My favorite tailor is 45 minutes away from me now, and while I will always keep him for my more valuable pieces, I was hoping to find someone close by to handle my everyday business casual attire. When going to a new tailor I always bring in a fairly disposable garment or two as test pieces. As soon as I walked into this shop I was NOT greeted but met by a woman with cold eyes and a smirk. I was taken aback by this behavior but thought, Everyone has bad days, it will get better once I show myself friendly and she warms up to me. But it didn’t get better at all. She spoke down to me as if I were stupid and herded me through the alteration process as if I were a third rate cow in line for slaughter. I should have left but I thought, Since I’m already here. . .I brought in a pair of used jeans that needed the waist band taken in and the length shortened. At the end of the session I felt unwanted and seriously devalued by her. I’ve only experienced this type of unprofessional behavior from fast food restaurants and big box retail. When I picked up my item (one week later, which I consider a fair turnaround time) I experienced strained, cold politeness (from the same woman who originally helped me, of course I was never properly introduced so I don’t have a name). I suppose this treatment is better than the blatant disdain that I was originally peppered with during my first encounter. She didn’t ask me to try on the jeans to ensure proper fit and by that point I didn’t care (honestly the jeans are just a very comfortable kick around pair that I needed altered so that they wouldn’t drag the ground when I wash my car in them). The price was reasonable for this type of alteration (if it had been done correctly, anyway). At this point I had no intent to complain online. But once I got home I discovered that one pant leg seemed longer than the other. I thought my eyes were surely playing tricks on me, but after measuring I realized that it was true. One pant leg was half an inch longer than the other. I won’t even attempt to dream as to why this woman chose to dislike me upon first glance. I don’t really mind it. It’s her business and her prerogative. But I would appreciate honesty from companies who choose to run their business in this manner. Perhaps a large sign with pictures designating the types of customers they will and will not do business with. At least then I would have been aware.
