Made the mistake of having three outfits ruined by these folks. My blazer jackets sleeves were uneven; as were two of the pair of pants. The third outfit, they used an off-color gray thread, that didn’t match the gray of the dress. I pointed out the errors when I picked them up, and they measured the uneven sleeves and hems again, and told me that, because they were only off by an 1.25 inches, I’d have to repay. Supposedly, their policy is anything under an inch and a half is considered undetectable. What!! I refused to repay and decided to take it all to Howells Alterations & Tailor Shop, which is our usual spot. They had been temporarily closed for a family emergency, so I had tried somewhere else in a pinch. Howell’s does a great job. The husband and wife team there, have a lifetime of experience between them. And their work is of the highest quality. I’m petite and my son is Big & Tall, which means he and I both need the majority of our clothes altered. I highly recommend Howell’s. They’re work is top of the line, and their prices are very reasonable.

I had a bridesmaid dress to get done. They told me it would be ready by September 24th. I called on September 24th to double check on a time and they told me it has not even been started yet! I had to have it that day because we were leaving town for the wedding. They did not seem sorry and seem to be upset at me for being upset. They said they would TRY and fit in in that day. Judging by the other review, this seems to be normal.

HORRIBLE! I dropped off my wedding dress 10 weeks prior to my wedding. I was told that I would get a call after 4 weeks for another fitting. 5 weeks go by without a call so I stopped in on my own. They told me that they have not started my dress yet. They scheduled a fitting for 2 weeks (so now they have had my dress for 7 weeks total). I arrive today for that scheduled fitting to be informed that my dress has not been worked on yet. AGAIN! I need to have it in 2 weeks. They tell me to come back on Friday (this was on a Tuesday) and that we will do a final fitting then and they will fix anything that needs done. So apparently they were just going to slap it together in 3 days and be done with it. How can that do that with a wedding dress! If they didn't have time for it they should have let me know. Allow me time to find someone who could work on my dress. Now I have 2 weeks before my wedding and a dress that hasn't had its alterations started. Luckily I found a place that will help me with this emergency. I will never recommend this place. I will also be calling Twirl to let them know of this situation. They were recommended by Twirl when I bought my dress. On some side notes, their shop was very messy.
