Had a very positive experience. Took a suit I'd purchased elsewhere and asked them how it fit. (I was getting married in a month and wanted to ensure it fit correctly) The man I spoke with said that I could shorten the sleeves or pants depending on my preference, but otherwise that it fit well. I decided to take him up on reducing both. When I came back I felt that the pants were reduced too much, so they took it back and let it out some. When I came back I felt like it still wasn't long enough, so they let it out again. The cost for the initial modifications (taking in sleeves and pants) was $61, and there was no additional charge for reworking the pants twice. I was very pleased with the result.

I brought two jackets to Nobby for some alterations, the prices were high but I expected that would mean better quality work and customer service. It did not, the man who took my measurements was very unpleasant and insinuated that altering my jackets was a waste of money because he didn't think they were nice enough. The work was adequate but not perfect, and when I picked them up the same man was there and still seemed uninterested in my business. You can't pay for alterations with a card for some reason, and the showroom looks like no one has done any renovations or cleaning since 1847. This place may have been nice once, but its definitely dated now.
