I had a bridesmaid dress altered here before and they did a pretty good job. I took my wedding dress to be altered (take material off from the bottom, fix the bottom layer that had way too much tulle, pull in the top around my waist and chest). My first fitting - I explained how I wanted my dress to be less poofy, more A frame, and I wanted the bottom to touch a little on the ground. I couldn't be more clear. I repeated myself tons and made sure we were both on the same page. Went to go pick up the dress and it was MORE poofy than what it was when I got there, the bottom layer of the dress with the tulle looked WILD (very uneven and bunched) and the dress was TOO cut TOO short. I looked like a big bell/a cupcake. This was all for $280. When I asked to have it fixed she argued with me and said it doesn't need to be fixed and she can't do anything about it. I had to take it to another tailor, Gabriele Bridal in Westerville the week before my wedding and couldn't believe what a terrible job she did. They fixed everything and more for the same price of $280 - had the bottom layer with the tulle completely redone (extra material cut out, a little bit of tulle evenly spread around) which made my dress longer (to at least touch the floor), they added breast cups, took the top in more because it as still too loose, I paid to have it steamed $60 and paid a rush fee $45. So basically I got ripped off at Jin's Tailor.

Jin did a FABULOUS job on my dress!! I brought in a floor length silk dress that needed taken in and she did a beautiful job. The dress fits perfectly and she even replaced a hook that had fallen off the dress that I forgot to tell her about. She completed the alteration quickly and was very sweet & a joy to work with. So I am typically not one to write reviews, and I’ve actually never even taken the time write one until today. This has honestly been one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had so I felt extremely compelled to write this so that no one EVER COMES HERE. This woman is not only extremely RUDE but she is a THIEF. She ruined both my bridal dress and my bachelorette dress all in one order. First of all, she said it would take a month to get them altered (which I was okay with but seemed rather long...but I’m sure since I was a new customer I was behind the line). However, when I went to pick them up one month later the bachelorette dress had been altered SO tight I couldn’t even zip it up, so I had to come back a week later (take time off of work) to pick it up before my trip only to find that the fabric got all bunched up in trying to let some of it out that it was barely wearable. And the funny thing is that I actually LOST weight between the two visits. Finally, she ruined my bridal gown so badly that I was forced to find a new one just two months out from the wedding date. The fabric was all starts of wavy and permanently crinkled as if heat had gotten on it. In trying to ask her what could have happened, BOY I don’t think I have EVER met someone SO RUDE. This was a $400 rehearsal gown that was ruined by her and she told me that she did not do anything, that this was how the fabric was and that i bought it that way but didn’t notice. First of all WHO talks to a customer like that? Also, it was my WEDDING GOWN so you’d think I would notice something like that before I was paying someone to get it altered! Like come on lady. The icing on top is that she not only yelled at me that it was not her fault, but also still made me pay her $55 only for me to have to buy a NEW dress. She is a THIEF and so RUDE! DO NOT GO HERE!!! BE WARNED!

Have been going to Jin for years! Only person I trust with my suits! Hands down best in Columbus. Don’t listen to the other reviewers she is not rude at all in fact she always makes me laugh. She is the best and so much fun! Highly recommend and would never think of going anywhere else!

I have been having clothes altered for years. Jin is the best around. I've seen suggestions of her having an attitude but if you meet her you will understand that it's her straight-forward personality. This woman is probably in her 60's (I hope I guessed younger)? She's done this her entire life and she is damn good at it.

Brought in my favorite jeans that I had long since retired, but kept around in hopes they could be repaired. Brought them in to Jin's, asked if she could do it and handed over the jeans. Picked them up a week later and bam, they're back baby and I'm stylin' again. Lookout ladies! Definitely exceeded my expectations. I had no idea about the process so I figured I'd throw in the pictures in case you might have questions about the end product yourself.

I have been going to Jin for years. She's done pants, jackets and dress shirts for me. She's funny, and bossy. She'll tell me upfront if a repair is expensive and many times has told me to just buy a new shirt or pants. She's is on the cheap side of fair on her pricing. Her turn times for small things are usually a week. Ladies if you want a full dress alternation she is not Amazon, expect 3-4 weeks which is normal turn times for most places.

I really do not write reviews, but the experience I had at this place is unreal! As others have said DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AT ALL. The owner (Jin) is extremely rude and racist. I came in wanting to get 3 shirts tailored, and the first thing she yelled out is “We are not cheap!” as if I ( an African American man) can not afford to pay for her services. She did this in front of several other customers without regard to the embarrassment she caused me. When I mentioned that money is not an issue, she quickly walked over and barely looked at the clothes before telling me she could not help me. Again this lady is rude, unprofessional, and should be put out of business. Spend your money somewhere else!

Jin is truly a treasure that I am almost afraid to share. She is a no nonsense, slightly bossy but never intimidating whirlwind of work. She knows what you want and how to get it done almost before you ask. Every single item of clothing I have entrusted to her capable hands has been delivered on time, and at a very reasonable price.
