I own a specialized outdoor jacket that I needed the arms shortened. I took it to two other tailors within 10 miles of this location and both said they wouldn't be able to work on the jacket. I went in to George's and was impressed from the beginning. I was greeted immediately and was told he could do the alteration without any doubt in his response. I was expecting a week or so for it to get back, but instead received a call later that evening saying it was done. He did an amazing job on the jacket and I will bring all my alterations to him from now on. In addition he has a great mens and wo.ensure store with plenty of suits and dresses. Thanks!

The end result was great. Leading up to that was a challenge. I called asked what it be to alter a wedding dress. I needed to take it in with all lace dress. They said around 30 dollars. I understand an estimate could change. They said my dress was ready and needed to go in and try it on. I came in and my once open back dress was not open back anymore. I wasn't happy. I said all I wanted was it taken in on sides. I asked why my back was so different and not open back. They fixed the issue in a week and everything was how I wanted it. When it was time to pay they said it was 97 dollars. I said I wasn't paying 300% increase of an estimate. I think they were trying to charge me for their mess up. They agreed and lowered the price to 65. I felt that was reasonable. Over all I left happy. The dress looks great.

I have much experience with the tailor George Tsaftarides, and from the simplest to the complex alterations he has done a great job on my clothing. A person could go to other places, but there is nothing like a seasoned tailor. Myself, I have been well satisfied. If it can be done, George can do it.
