At the moment this firm receives a score of 3.4 over 5 and the score has been based on 16 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to place evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

It's a bit annoying that they don't accept checks and as a family business, which I want to support, there have been occasions when they/she took off weekend days preventing service. Bottom-line, call before you go to make sure they are open. .

She had always come highly recommended to me by friends and family, until one day that my Fiance went in to have her dress altered. She had confirmed she could alter dresses before my fiance went in. After the dress was on the woman proceeded to not only insult the style of the bride, but also her personally. She blamed her as well for mistakes in the dress. Needless to say, my fiance took her dress and left.

On the recommendation of a friend, I began taking my designer clothing to this woman for basic alterations. After three visits, I am done and never conducting business with that woman, ever again. As a business owner, both your word as well as the quality of your work, determines your level of success. The owner works in the shop and does the vast majority of the work. In fact, she is the ONLY one who writes customer work orders. First, on my most recent visit to pick up a completed job, I noticed that the designer label had been removed after I specifically asked Su not to remove the label. Keeping the label in tact is always my requirement. Since she obviously cannot remember (or simply doesn't care) details, Su should write them on the work order. When I brought this to Su's attention, she immediately went to the back and spoke to a worker about it. I could hear the conversation while standing at the front counter. The label had been found and Su told me that it would be sewn back on. Then, she apologized but also told a bold-faced lie about the work order. She said, "I didn't write the ticket". What!!!! I didn't know that Su had a twin. This woman looked me in my face and lied, then expected me not to care. If a person lies, she will lie, steal, and cheat as well. This brings me to my next point. Secondly, I believe that Su overcharges minority customers, particularly those who she believes have money. I was charged $35 for a dress hem, and $15 to take in the waist of a pair of pants. Like another reviewer stated, Su has an issue with minorities. I firmly agree. We get charged more than any of her other customers. If you must conduct business with this woman (I do not understand why given the number of good seamstress shops in Raleigh), pay close attention when a non-minority walks in and pays. It's always cheaper for them. I am done with that lying, untrustworthy woman. Do not be fooled by her friendliness; it's an act to get your money.

She alter some shirts, and did a great job... I just thought it was a little over price.

She need to work on her communication skills when dealing with minorities. She’s forgotten that she too is a minority (Korean). Everybody is not a crook.

Was told that they could tailor shirts and I had dresses I wanted made into tunics. She came out eating and licking her fingers, wouldn't touch the dress or material and told me no, no they don't do that...
