Horrible job altering my daughters brand new pants. They did not write up instructions correctly & even though we brought the pants back 2 times the pants were totally unwearable with bulging pockets.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a tailor, dont go there. They waited to work on the prom dress until the minute I came in, it was still in the back being worked on even after I gave them over a week to fix it. The dress was not done when promised and I had to go back 2 more times for them to get it right. They over charged me and the work they did was less then adequate. Would never go there again or recommend them.

Everything is amazing when you walk in to get sized. Until I went in to pick up my 2 dresses I dropped off and they could not find them anywhere in the store. They found it a day later and it wasn't done. At the end the dresses were two weeks late, and when I told her I felt I deserved a discount she told me she would give me $2 off of $85 to shorten two dresses. Not only was the price unreasonable but the two woman's attitudes were completely rude DO NOT GO THERE

My oldest daughter waited until just two weeks before her wedding date to have her dress that she purchased months before fitted. The dress was too small in the girth and fabric was needed to expand the dress. Additionally, the extensive zipper had to go in lieu of something else. The staff at Tailor Expert designed a cross over pull cord tie to the back of the dress that not only allowed for a perfect, custom fit, but added a new, delicate dimension to the designer dress, enhancing it to a look BETTER than with a plain zipper! We had asked another local tailor who worked out of her home to help us and she was too busy. Tailor Expert came through as a shining star in my book. Our daughter's wedding went off beautifully and she shined too!

Twice now I've been over-charged. Once it was only by a dollar or two, the second time a dress alteration was $36 instead of $14. When I pressed the issue, the reason was "It was quoted wrong". When she did the quoting! Will not be back.

I went there several times and had no issue with the quality of their work. My issue is that I happened to have 3 skirts hemmed 2 weeks in a row. The first week I left 1 skirt and got a price quote..agreed and had them hem. Just so happened found 2 more skirts (exactly same as first) 1 week later and dropped off to get hem. Didn't think to ask for estimate (b/c I had just picked up 1st skirt) and when I went to pick up they were more almost double cost per hemming. I asked why and owner got angry so then i asked for price list she said she didn't have one that she bases it on each piece. I told her how much I've used her. Do not recommend such a poor customer service.

DO NOT BRING ANYTHING HERE! Took a $250 backpack to have some patches sewed on. When I got there to pick it up (the day she told me to come back), it wasn’t even finished. She brought it out with half of the patch hanging off. But the worst part is that there is a red stain on my blue bag now, which looks like blood (I hope it hurt). And it looks super sloppy. I made her take them off because it looked so bad. I would not ever recommend coming here even if it was my only option. Super rude and the quality of her work is awful. I could probably do a better job.

I've taken several uniforms here to get tailored over the years. They show good attention to detail, and provide good quality work for an affordable price. I haven't even bothered going elsewhere, the past 5 years, because I can trust that the work will be done properly. Highly recommended.

I've have had about 6 shirts, a sport coat and even jeans adjusted at Tailor Export. I found them professional, friendly and reasonably priced. For the jeans, they even roughed up the new hem to better match the look of the jean - no extra cost. This is why I continue to go to them for tailor needs. Highly recommended! Keep in mind that most folks who share reviews are passionate about something, and in the USA, passion is usually about something that went wrong. Thus, you are likely to see negative reviews against service providers. Not so for restaurants... that's a whole different market. Anyway, this reflects my experiences.

brought in multiple 3 sports coats for alterations and there was a line of people waiting to get pinned (busy time of the day i guess?), the measuring took awhile but I suppose the seamstress wanted to be careful. A week later they called me to tell me that one of my coats required additional pinning due to the lining and I was able to pick up the last coat a day later. I'm pretty happy with the detail and results, it would have cost alot more to buy more suits.

******STAY AWAY FROM HERE*********** If I could give this place no stars I would!!! I brought in a $200.00 brand new bridesmaid dress to get hemmed. I come back to pick it up and there is grease stains all over it. I ask the lady what this is from and she responds with "I don't know". How can you not know?? You hemmed the dress and it had never been worn before. NOW I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THE DRY CLEANER AND HOPE THE STAIN COMES OUT!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

Price was great, but the fabric on a brand new skirt was ruined here. The fabric came back picked, threads pulled, and damaged too much to look nice. Listen to other reviews, and go somewhere else. Convenience and price won't fix damaged fabrics.

I've been taking my clothes there for years, and they do a fantastic job of tailoring. I've used other tailor shops that are closer to me, but they just don't compare. I now drive 1.5 hrs to get to Tailor Expert because of the good work they do. Other reviewers don't seem disappointed in the work, but the price and timing. If you want something done at any business, find out the cost and don't wait until the last minute!

We used to go to them regularly and they do a pretty decent job. However, last 2 times we went, they started charging an outrageous amount. For the same alteration from one visit to another, they charged more than double the amount. When I asked about it, they were EXTREMELY rude and said that i should have asked for a quote (which i had). Will never use them again.

First, let me say that I have been pleased with their service for the last three years. My shirts and costs have always been suitable and they tend to complete their work ahead of schedule. Unfortunately on June 3, 2017 I asked for some work on two shirts. Before she could ask, I had already put on one of the shirts so she could began taking measurements. Before she walked over, a customer walked in. She immediately disregarded me and began tending to the customer. I stood there for several minutes as she asked the customer a series of questions and continued as if I wasn't there. No, "excuse me, I'll be right with you." Or do you mind if I tend to her and get back with you?" Maybe I'm getting sensitive as I get older but I'm big on customer service. Additionally, it took me a minute to process what was going on. I will not assume why she ignored me. All I can say is, I felt disrespected. I took my shirts and walked out of her business. There was no, "wait I'm sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting." She made no effort to pull me back and explain her actions. They lost one loyal customer..

Husband took my girls to Tailor Experts to have 4 Target dresses hemmed. He ran into Harris Teeter while they were measuring dresses. Went to pick the dresses up and was charged $170 for 4 - $30 target dresses to be hemmed. Tried speaking with Owner and she was horrible. Blamed it on my children wanting their dresses to be taken in but they only needed them hemmed. They took full advantage of them. DO NOT use Tailor Experts.
