I took my Panthers jersey to get it Tailored up. I didn't try it on once I picked it up from the store, but once I tried it on at home it felt perfect. I would recommend North Hills Tailor to everyone. 10 out of 10 I will definitely be back

Joe and I have used North Hills Tailor for many years. They moved from North Ridge Shopping Center to their new location at Falls Pointe Shopping Center last year and we followed them. Their alterations have always been perfect and the owners, Tony and Huyen are fantastic to work with. If we need something in a hurry they have always been able to "get it done". I'm disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. I had some items that had a few tiny holes that I wanted stitched up. Normally I would do this myself, but didn't want to buy the thread I would need for the different shirts. The quality of the work is fine EXCEPT the knots were all tied on the outside?! That is not something I would have expected from a professional service, and not something I would expect I'd need to specify. I'm disappointed to pay for something that I could have done a better job on myself.

I am disappointed. The couple who owns this place is very nice. The first time I came in to them before the holidays they were able to fix the liner of my husbands jacket for no problem and for a fair price. My daughter had them take in a dress and hem it in areas that is needed. They did a great job for a fair price as well. Well for my swade/leather jacket, I needed a new zipper. They said they could do it for $50.00. I thought that was pricey but realize how thick the coat is and the time it will take to fix it, so I agreed. Well 1 week after drop off, I go to pick up the jacket as scheduled and was told their machine that deals with the zipper is broken and they need to fix it. To leave it with them, they'll have the machine fixed and then fix my jacket. I was also told she the owner would call me once it was fixed. It's been over a month, I was going to pick it up a week or so ago but due to our ice storm waited another week for her to call and tell me it's ready. I finally call 5 weeks later since I have not heard from her and she now tells me the machine is still broken and she is not going to fix it. And tells me "she never said she'd fix it, she said once her machine was fixed she'd "try to fix it". That is not what i was told. If that was the case I would have gone else where then to have my jacket sit there for over 4 weeks. I am really annoyed and feel put out as this was a gift for our daughter. She loves vintage jackets and now it's been well past the holiday's to receive it. So now I must go in and collect my jacket and find another tailor that will do a good job. I am not going back due to lack fo customer service, regardless that she did a good job on the other 2 items. It pisses me off she didn't call me to let me know about the hold up. Time is something we can never get back and I could have my jacket fixed by now.

Needed a long (31+ inch) zipper for a knee length winter pea coat and the kind employee found one for me right away. Another local tailor in town held my coat for months without updates so I was ecstatic. 1 week pickup!

Huyen is a real professional and is always ready for a challenge...and is willing to share alternate ideas if she feels you would be better served going in a different direction. There are three things you need to look your best: A good hairdresser, a good cobbler, and above all, a good tailor. I've been going to North Hills Tailor now for several years, and I couldn't be happier. Quality work, _very_ reasonable prices, and fast turnaround. Whenever I needed something done fast, Tony and Huyen have always come through for me. Shirts, blazers, winter coats, pants, they do it all. The store is always organized, clean, and has nice large changing rooms. And their workshop is part of the store, they're proud to display their work and rightfully so. If you live in North Raleigh, your choice is obvious: North Hills Tailor. If you live a little further, your choice is equally obvious: North Hills Tailor and a car with good gas mileage.

This is a wonderful tailor place. They truly take their time and work with your expections. The tailor explains what can and cannot be done so there's no surprises. Although they only accept cash the prices are reasonable.

I had a great experience at North Hills! They are the only tailor in town with extensive experience altering Irish Dance Solo Dresses. Before quoting the work, they carefully examined every fiber of the dress and asked a lot of questions.These dresses are different from most alterations and the expense of replacement is tremendous. I would not trust another tailor with this task. They are one of the few who posses the extreme detail orientation needed to make alterations on this highly specialized item. The pricing was fantastic. Thank You North Hills!

This is a Great Tailor . My needs were met Promptly, and the prices were very fair! The best part is the husband and wife that own and run the establishment are trustworthy! I was in a bit of a rush when getting sized and dropping off my uniforms and had accidentally left some cash in the trouser pocket in which they had returned to me. That alone is enough reason to continue using their services. Also, every time you walk through the door they greet you with a big smile. Thank you!!
