This is a family run business and they care about their customers. I have been going to them for years because I trust them to do a good job and have it ready when they say it will be. They are very friendly and even getting technologically savvy. I moved out of Chapel Hill but I still take my clothes to them because they are the best.

I have had good experiences in the past. However the last two times my clothes were fixed adequately but smelled and looked dirty so I had to have them dry cleaned. I won't go back.

This may be a good place for simple things and inexpensive garments but not a place to entrust expensive clothes even for very simple alterations. I had a somewhat long sleeve on a 700 Euro new Cashemire jacket bought in Rome, Italy and asked if it can be fitted. The tailor mechanically shortened the bottom of the sleeve leaving 0.25 inch between the sleeve and the corner - realized only at home - it looks awful. ...and it seems to be such a trivial rule as I now read - if you cannot move buttons because of the button holes - shorten the sleeve from the top. No skillful tailor could release the work the way it was given to me. Awful!!! PS. Luckily another tailor was able barely to save this jacket. What became obvious that OT 1) shortened by 2.5 cminstead of 1 cm marked by them in my presence; 2) cut the material ruthlesslely and uneven like butchers (even though there was no need); 3) made very uneven stitches and 4) left less than 1 cm between the edge and buttons as I already described. Never go to OT again.

Reliable and able to tailor complicated requests from my tall family. New owner is the daughter of the founder and very personable. Have recommended OT many times over more than a decade. Great with Scout uniform patches, transferring them to larger shirts and coats as kids grew and advanced.
