You will see all the opinions of people like you who are purchasing the products and services of Lee\'s Tailors (Tailor) in the state of North Carolina.
At the present this firm has a score of 3.6 out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 49 reviews.
As you can see its rating is quite good, and it is founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can think that the rating is quite credible. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they've done well, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to set opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Tailor corresponds to the category of Clothing alteration service.
One of the less expensive tailors in Wake Forest. Their work is well done and alterations are performed in a timely fashion.
I had a heavy leather mens jacket that needed to have the zipper replaced. They did a fantastic job. Looking at the jacket you can't see any additional holes from the stitching. Highly recommend them. They only take cash or check but they give you the price when you drop the item off. Very nice people.
Truly amazing service! Besides having done a phenomenal job on my dress, they went above and beyond with customer service. They are what all businesses should be like! Great experience.
I have never given anything ZERO stars before, but I am really appalled by our experience at this store. My husband recently lost a lot of weight, so he needed his old suits tailored to fit his new build. We had never been in need of a tailor before, except for minor alterations, so we came here to seek their professional opinion as to how the suits should look and how to alter down the suits. They pinned him up and said the suits would be ready the next week (we gave them 2 suit jackets, 2 suit pants, and 2 sports jackets) with a total of $302. When we go to pick them up, my husband tries them on, and he is still swimming in them. He tried to reason politely that there seems little that they did to improve the fit at all. They went on to accuse my husband that it was his fault, because they only did what he asked them to do. They explained that there was no way to alter the jackets the way he needs to without compromising the style of the jacket. We asked, if this was the case, why didn't they tell us that at the fitting? We would have then took our money to go buy new suits for my husband instead of now having all these suits and jackets that we can't even sell because they have been altered to a point that can't be altered any further! They basically took advantage of our inexperience, then blamed it on us (when we came seeking their professional advice), wouldn't give us any discount for the work done, and now we are stuck with suits that can't be worn or sold. I am just very disgusted at the dishonesty and the unprofessional way they treated my husband.
Absolutely unacceptable service. I originally paid for the repair (fixing rips and adding buttons) on two pairs of pants. A couple of days later I realized that the buttons had not been put on. Assuming it was just a miscommunication, I brought the pants back to the shop and was denied any offer of assistance (i.e. a discount, a free repair, a "sorry for the inconvenience" etc.). The employee told me that if I wanted the buttons put on, I would have to pay for the service again because "last time was last time and this time is this time". Not to mention, he was incredibly rude and condescending. Looking back on this experience, it's quite laughable because it's just such a strange way to treat a customer. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was having a (really!) rough day. But just keep in mind that you might want to bring your business elsewhere.
This place done lost my clothes! Lost weight so took 5 pairs of pants for them to adjust. They said no problem and that it would take a week. When I went to pick-up, they gave me two dresses. I told them I didn’t give them dresses and that it was 5 pairs of pants. They said no, the dresses matched my ticket. Not sure what happened but they blamed me and refused to help me or reimburse me. They said the dresses were mine and to leave. Not sure whose dresses these are...One is gold and the other is red and black with a big flower at the waist.
Great work
DO NOT COME HERE. They will rip you off. They charged $145 dollars to hem and take in the bust of my daughters prom dress. The work they did on the bust of the dress ended up not being done properly and was too tight in some areas and too loose in other areas. I purchased the dress for only $99, so I paid more to alter it than what I paid for it!!! I figured I give them another chance, I went in a second time to hem two cotton dresses and shorten the straps on one. They wanted to charged me $52 dollars to get two simple dresses I bought from Target done!!! After going back and forth with them they lowered to $46. Still waaaay to much. Only reason I allowed then to rip me off twice is because I was in a time crunch and needed work done quickly for events. I will NEVER go back to them and let them rip me off again EVER.
Horrible customer service. I am not someone to leave reviews unless my experience is truly that bad. Went to pick up a hemmed bridesmaids dress and when I tried on, there was a large snag on the front of my dress. They "fixed" it by pulling out the snag and cutting the excess fabric leaving a small hole and would not take any responsibility for the issue. Still charged me for the small hem and continued to blame the issue on me. Really really rude. Will not ever go back and will be sharing my experience with others.
They were so kind and so professional! My dress needed quick alterations (I was in a wedding in a few days!) and the dress was too small. They did a wonderful job and it looks beautiful. You couldnt even tell they had changed anything and the wedding went wonderfully. They were also incredibly hospitable to me and the price was very good. I do think the review below (the one that said they had horrible service) must be talking about a different Lee's Tailors. They did a perfect job for me and everyone else I met in their store seemed VERY satisfied with the work! Thank you for everything!
I don't usually write reviews but this place cost me a lot of money. I took my suit here for tailoring and what I got back still didn't fit right. The shoulders were uneven, pants too long, jacket sleeves too long. I called twice to verify that they do free adjustments to clothing that they altered but when I arrived they wanted to charge me again and for even more than I had paid the first time. Needless to say I've taken my business elsewhere. And to be clear, the folks at Men's Wearhouse confirmed that my newly tailored suit doesn't fit so now I'm forced to pay twice for tailoring (over 250$).
Absolutely the worst!!! They are rude and condescending to say the least. The work on my dress was horrible and they didn’t do anything they told me they would do! When I asked for a refund he just laughed and got angry... just an FYI he actually wrote one of the reviews on here like he was a customer...of course his review was good. DO NOT use Lee’s Tailor if you want your clothes to come out right!!!!!
Terrible work and service! Only accepts cash or check. Expensive for work done. Karma will hopefully give them a wake up check. Building a business is abt good service and above all...customer service and gratitude for clients who could easily take business to any number of places! This owner spoke "I don't care..."when I tried to bring up an issue...so I am sorry for YOU! I do care and I dont have to do business with you ever again!
Extremely caring and very professional! I was in the state for my best friends wedding and had an emergency, needed a quick hem. They was very kind and reassuring! Fix my problem in no time! I definitely recommend going here.
I have taken a range of items to Lee's Tailors (Wake Forest location), and they have done a phenomenal job each time for our entire family. They are incredibly humble and kind people with immense talent, and a great eye for tailoring. They have redesigned our jackets/coats, hemmed designer jeans without a trace, tailored sleeves--they are the BEST! Very highly recommend!
Great service, kind, and helpful. Hemmed my pants perfectly and quickly! We are very happy and will use them again!
Highly recommend Lee's Tailors! Great dry cleaning service and amazing tailors. I needed a suit jacket and pants altered for my father's funeral and they turned it around the next day for a very reasonable cost. Thank you Lee's Tailors for helping me through this crisis. Have used the alterations service multiple times for pants, jackets, and dresses for my wife/daughter. Always fits perfectly. Thank you!
They did a good job with the tailoring, however they ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK! I never carry cash, and ended up going to two different out of order ATMs before finally finding one that worked. If they took card (which most modern businesses should), it would have saved me a lot of time and $5.50 in ATM fees.
I had 2 fitted hats that they made 2 inches smaller and they did a great job. Getting a jacket modification done soon.
Decent tailor. Not always nice though.
Lee's Tailors has done several alterations for me in the past. I speak to the Tailor, tell him my specifications, and he makes it happen. Pleasant people to do business with. I've always paid with cash or check, b/c they do not accept card payments, however this policy may have changed since the last time I've been there.
Lee's Tailor does an amazing job with alterations! I brought in a formal dress for my 4 year old because it was too long and the work they did was perfect! I will not go anywhere else!!
They were fast and did a good job getting my suit fitted correctly (pants hemmed, jacket altered, and waist adjusted). They've said in the comments they're willing to 'negotiate' on prices, but that's not true. They're a little expensive and, in my experience, won't budge on price. Not disappointed in my experience by any means because I needed an alteration done last minute, and they were able to get it done in 2 days.
Great service, great quality work.
Convenient.
I took my prom dress here, the service was awesome! And my dress looks amazing after the alteration!
I had a t-shirt that was too small and had to wear for an upcoming event. Came in on a Saturday morning, told them I wanted gold panels put in sides. Completed that day and looked amazing! Thank you so much.
Had curtains hemmed and one panel is an inch longer than the other. Unreal!!
I brought my Bridal Gown in, and these kind and most efficient people, cared for me both personally and professionally.Within 6 days I had the perfect dress, thanks to these special people!
These people are very rude. They hardly even speak when you walk in the door. I will never give them my money again, I’ll drive 30min to another place. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Learn that! They did work on my uniforms and it was the worst. They hemmed my pants too short. Never again.
Friendly and efficient.
I had my drapes tailored here and very happy with the outcome. Perfectly hemmed, the staff is very friendly too. I'll definitely be using them moving forward for all my tailoring needs.
This was hands down the worst tailors I have ever been to! They ruined the bottom of my dress that i need to wear in a few days and it was completely wrinkled. When I mentioned something they were very rude and laughed at me!
Horrible experience!! My husband had his jacket repaired by one of the tailors. His jacket was black and they used bright blue...almost an aqua colored string. You could see every stitch, as if a 5-year-old was the one doing the repairing. It was awful!! I took the jacket back and they refused to fix it saying they would never use the wrong color and their stitches would be better.....?? Don’t make the same mistake we did. Choose another tailor that knows what they are doing and one that is a lot more friendlier because they were very rude.
Wonderful service! Had a dress that needed to be pressed for an event on a Monday morning and it was Saturday at 2:30 p.m. They were able to do it not only that afternoon, but within an hour. Dress looks great and now so will the person wearing it! Thank you!
Terrible experience. Very expensive ($70 to take in a bridesmaids dress!). The people pinning for the alterations clearly aren't seamstresses. My dress came back wrong and they wanted to charge me more to fix it. I finally left with a dress that doesn't fit, rather than giving them more money. DON'T GET ALTERATIONS HERE.
A little pricey, but they did a great job altering my scrubs and had them ready fast. Very friendly as well.
Replaced a broken zipper, took in sides and hemmed a full length dress for me in 3 days! Fantastic job with great service. Highly recommend!
Great tailor. Quick service. Reasonable cost.
Brought in two pairs of jeans to get altered. Guy rushed through hemming only one pair. Got them both back... too much material was cut and now they’re too short. For the price and shoddy work, I’ll go elsewhere next time.
They do excellent work
