I brought a coat I bought at a resale shop here to have its zipper replaced. The zipper repair was done adequately, but some of the details - namely the fact that its a dark purple jacket and half of the repairs were done in dark blue (invisible to the eye) and the other half in grey (very visible). I was quoted on the phone that a zipper repair would take 3-4 days, it took a week and I had to call to check on the status of the repair.

This is the worst place you can go to get alterations done. I came to get my dress hemmed for my sister's wedding. I came to try the dress on and was told that she could not find my dress and to give them a day to look for it. When they finally found my dress, it was not hemmed, so I gave them a week to hem it. I was out of town, so I asked my mother to pick it up for me. There was no price, and the worker told my mom that she could not have the price because the owner was not there, they did not know what to charger her, and they had no way to contact the owner. On the day of the wedding, I tried on the dress, and it still was not hemmed. I had to take it back once again. The job was terrible/rushed, and the owner charged me 102.00. DO NOT COME HERE. I reported her to the BBB, and she refused to settle the claim. If I could give negative stars I would.

I brought in a leather motorcycle vest and shirt, both needing patches. They charged a premium for them. And returned them unfinished. Including incomplete failing stitches, patches sewn only on 3/4 sides. Sewing through pockets I specifically requested them not to. I did notice the failings at pickup and have decided to take my business else where. If you use this shop, ensure you closely inspect the work you had done. They spent a lot of time telling me what they couldn't do, I would have rather them just turn me away saying they don't do that kind of work.

I needed a very simple and standard hem on my skirt so that it wouldn't drag on the ground and I felt the price and length of time necessary was outrageous. It took 3 full days and I was charged a shocking $55 (more than the cost of my skirt). I also felt the quality was not representative of the price; my skirt still touched the ground and had strings hanging.
