I've brought a nice t-shirt, two polos, and a very sketchy collared sweater that seemed like I should have given up on it. Three time's I've been here and three times she did magic. The t-shirt anyone could of done since it just needed to be shortened. The polos needed the tail shortened and the sides brought in, now they fit wonderfully. The collared sweater I got from amazon, and the fit was just so whacky, and the material seemed kind of iffy. The length needed to be shortened, the sleeves needed to be shortened, and the sides needed to be brought in but only halfway up. It was during downtime/slow season and she had it back to me form fitting and perfect within 4 hours. I've now gone on a spree of finding old clothes and that look nice on a mannequin but awkward fitting on me to have them tailored.

With some trepidation, I visited Christie’s to get her help with alterations to my mother’s twenty-six-year-old designer wedding dress. She was very considerate, assuring, and respectful throughout the whole process. When I picked up my dress for the final fitting, the dress fit like a glove! Her work was so amazing you couldn’t even see where it was altered. I would recommend Christie’s for all your alteration needs.

Christie is amazing! My dress was too big after losing weight so I came to her with about 3 weeks until my wedding....needless to say it turned out perfect! She went over tying my corset with my mom repeatedly until she got it. She was kind, patient, and very personable. I brought in a very heavy leather motorcycle jacket to have the sleeves shortened. It wasn't cheap and it took a week but i couldn't be happier with the result. She cut the sleeves off and shortened them at the shoulder, leaving the cuffs intact. To look at the jacket, you couldn't tell that it had been tailored and now it fits like a glove. Not a lot of tailors in the area will do leather, so I was glad to find her.

We had my daughter's wedding dress altered here. It was a ballgown with about twelve different layers in the skirt and they did an EXCELLENT job. They also built a 5 button bustle for the train to be pinned up and it was perfect. They squeezed us in almost at the last minute and had the alterations done in under three weeks! The work and craftsmanship were great and the customer service was amazing. We even had to move our pickup (by one day earlier) and Christie accommodated us.

This is the best alteration's shop that I have found in all of North Carolina! My wife and I drive 1.5 hours to come here to have our clothes altered and it's worth the drive. Christie is a wonderful person and does amazing work for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for someone to do an excellent job on your alterations you should certainly chose Christies.

Christie is amazing!!!!! I picked up my wedding dress from Christie yesterday and had tears in my eyes as I put it on for the final fitting. She did an AMAZING job. She was incredibly attentive and spent a good amount of time with me making sure that it was perfect. She helped me pick the perfect bustle and even gave me a discount off the already ridiculously inexpensive pricing. Her work was impeccable and she is a sweetheart to boot. As I was there for my last fitting she gave me great marriage advice and reminisced about her wedding 40 years ago. Christie is wonderful! I will be brining everything to her!

Today I arrived to the store at 10 after 10 (Saturday), the store says they open at 10 am and they were not open. It was false advertisement and now I'm a very disappointed customer. People are standing outside of the door hoping to get in and the stores is closed. Sad.
