Had three articles to be hemmed, they were so uneven. I took them back and she said they were fine. I had her measure the hem, one side was 1" the other half an inch..... all three are so bad! She would only refund some money if I would let her rip the stitches out. I just told her that I did not want her to further harm my clothing and she refused to respond any money. I'm out about $200 worth of clothes and $49 for her services for extremely horrible work. Do not go there!

My lifesavers, would recommend to all my friends and family. I received my bridesmaid dress Monday night before the wedding on Saturday. The dress looked like it was made for a child. I went to Ann's Tuesday in a huge panic and everyone was so willing to help me. They ended up having to completely change the skirt and corset the back. They had it ready for a fitting on Thursday, they took the time to look at the dress on me and make the alterations needed so it would fit my body perfectly. I was leaving Friday afternoon and they had me come in when they opened for another fitting. It was BEAUTIFUL they are complete lifesavers and I have no clue what I would have done without them. The price was very reasonable for the amount of effort and work they put into the dress. I will never go to another alterations place. I could never thank them enough!

I had a good experience a couple of years ago for shortening pants. This time, they gouged me on the price and gave me back a stained dress. The dress was brand new in plastic since I bought it. I needed an additional slight adjustment and they wanted additional money Then once I saw the stains, (which they dismissed), I decided to take my dress and go. One pic attached - looks like coffee or blood. Find somewhere else for your alterations. I will be.

They have always done great alterations for me. It is fast and great work. I have never had to go back and have them refix anything. Nothing has ever been to short. I would recommend them to anyone! If I could I would have them alter my wedding dress :)

Anna's Alterations is AMAZING!!! I couldn't believe the work that Anna's was able to do on my wedding dress! I brought in a 30-year-old dress (my mother's) that I intended to wear for my wedding and when we pulled it out of the garment bag from another alterations shop that I had brought it to we realized that they had literally put HOLES in my dress. There were two gaping holes that Anna's was able to repair so well we couldn't even tell where they had been! Beyond that, they were able to transform the dress into something more modern and wearable for this day and age, while maintaining the integrity of the dress. I am still blown away by what Anna's was able to do and the staff was more than pleasant to work with the whole way through!! I would 100% recommend Anna's Alterations. Anna herself if absolutely fabulous!!

The wedding I am in is using a 3rd party online tux vendor so all the groomsmen have the same style of tux. I needed to get measured so I went into Anna's unannounced. Not only did they measure me on the spot, but they did it free of charge. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. Their space was clean and inviting. Highly recommend them!

I came here to get my jeans patched I bought these jeans from over seas these are designers jeans and you can't get them here in the stats, So when they ripped I just have to find the most reliable and trust worthy place to get them patched, thru recommendations from a family friend they recommended me to take these jeans to Anna's alterations, the staff that helped me was a friendly young handsome boy who is fairly well built (probably goes to the gym everyday) he was professional as well as knowledgeable while answering any concerns I have. when I get the jeans back they were patched perfectly as if it was done by the manufacture themselves, it was amazing they probably had some kind of master tailor in the back of the shop maybe imported from over seas. I am truly amazed by the workmanship and the professionalism displayed by the staffs and I would highly recommend anyone to come get their alterations here.

I've used this tailor several times. First, I had a pair of pants hemmed, and they came out great. After that I brought two more pair - two were too short and one was perfect (supposed to match the three), but they fixed them. I brought a few button down shirts up there and the front sides were different lengths on two of four. After I try and get these fixed, I won't be returning. They are always in a rush and the quality is slipping.

Had a good experience at first so I came back a second time just to be extremely disappointed. Not sure if they changed management but the rude girl with short hair and glasses that was helping me out was extremely impatient as I had five pieces of clothing to altered. She had the guts to make an impatient rude noise when I turned my back to change. She also pulled and hold my wrist with unecessary force when impatiently measuring my jacket sleeves. To finish my top notch experience I got an extremely high overpriced bill at the end. I wouldn't care about the bill as much if I had great customer service which was not the case. This is definitely will be my last time at this place because I definitely won't be spending money and even stepping into a place to receive horrible treatment by their rude unhappy associates.

Love them. They accommodated my last-minute bridesmaid dress alteration, and not only for the original alteration request (getting the strapless halter part to fit perfectly over my bust). They also did a hem job in time so that I wasn't tripping over myself walking down the aisle on my friend's big day! Thank god for Anna's Alterations!

I bought a dress online that I wanted to wear as my wedding dress. It was gorgeous on the model, but did not look good at all on me. I decided to take it to Anna's Alternations to see what they could do. They not only fixed the dress to fit me perfectly, but they also put a few hooks in the back of the dress so I could "lift' the train when the dancing started after the wedding. I could wear the train up (to make it floor length) or down with the train. They are very helpful and friendly, and they did a wonderful job on my dress. It was beautiful!

My 2nd experience here, actually, is for the military ball. The 1st time I came here, I was getting my dress hemmed and the staff was very nice and no issues at all. They have affordable prices, and you can get your clothes back at the quickest time.

I’ve brought clothes here many times before for things like fixing holes and resewing the straps on my tops. I’ve tried other alterations places around town but nothing compares to the quality of work that Anna’s provide. Sometimes it’s hard for me to find exactly where the hole was because they did such a great job! Recently I needed an emergency alteration for a wedding out of town. My husband got his suit jacket fitted and I had my dress taken in and shortened. I was so amazed that they were able to do the work so quickly! And the expediting fee was very reasonable! Up north i would’ve had to pay ten times as much!! And the work they did was exceptional my dress fitted like a glove. Will update with pictures later when the wedding photos come in

Still absorbing the level of rudeness and condescension. From no greeting when I walked in the door to her confusion about my appointment and that my simple ivory dress is, in fact, a wedding dress, the whole thing was a disaster. When I showed a picture of the alterations I had in mind, she asked how she was supposed to do them. Since I am not a seamstress, I lacked a good answer. If I had more time, I'd go somewhere else. Two stars because an apology was made about not thinking it was a wedding dress.

The work is not that good at all... had a wedding dress altered top taken in a little and hips taken out a little. The cost was ridiculous, they were also suppose to add a bustle but did not, had to take it else where. The lady who worked on my dress was rude and not welcoming at all. Took my dress to another shop right down the street from my house, had a few more things done which didn't even costs half of what I paid at Anna's alteration and they did a great job.....

They’re amazing. I had some pants that needed to be tailored, and they’re spot on with the tailoring. I usually go for a 13 inch leg opening, they nailed the measurement without even using a mesuring tape. I tailor all my clothing with them now. Important fact: they don’t charge on redo’s until they get it right. :)

Although the staff is extremely nice I feel I was charged for a service that wasnt fully completed or done correctly. My wedding dress was still to long for me to walk down the isle in. I tripped on it multiple times and even my heel got stuck in the tool. The tool wasnt completely cut off I had some strands left. The bustle was sewn into the tool all bunched up and not flattened out first. I feel it was rushed to be completed on time.

After having been fitted for a wedding gown and waiting months on it's arrival, the gown's fit was terrible on by daughter. She found Anna's Alterations and trusted them with the daunting task of basically remaking the bodice portion of the gown. Anna's did a fabulous job! Their pricing was very reasonable for the complicated work done. I also had my Mother of the Bride dress remade from an A line shape to a fitted shape. Again, Anna's did a super job! They are talented seamstresses. I will certainly trust them with my nice things in the future.

If there was a way to give zero stars, I would. I had four pairs of pants altered here. After trying them on for the first time, they were too long. I brought them back to have them shortened less than a week after picking them up, and they told me they would charge me again. Their prices are also too high for the “work” that they do. I would not recommend this location.

I always take any pants I need altered to Anna’s They do a great job! What I didn’t know is that they can fix zippers there too. I took my hockey equipment bag in that had 2 non-working zippers. He fixed it up and got the zippers working in about 10 minutes! Saved me the cost of a new bag!

Inconsistent work and overpriced. The first time I went, I needed a suit altered, including sleeves shortened, pants hemmed and buttons replaced. When I returned after 8 days (which I paid a rush fee for), the suit alterations were not completely finished and the buttons weren't replaced. The total cost was $45. The employee insisted that I pay for the button replacements now, and then return on another visit for the actual work to be done. I refused, and she said she would remove the charge ($4), but still charged me partially for it. But I wasn't too upset because it was just a fraction of $4. I returned a few weeks later for the buttons to be replaced, and specifically requested the previous buttons to be returned to me. She agreed. When I came back (this time after 6 days), the previous buttons were misplaced. And the charge now was $12.50. I couldn't understand how the previous charge was $4 and now increased to over 3x as much. TL;DR dissatisfied with work on 2 separate occasions. Save yourself the hassle and go to Anne's Alterations (similar name, superior service) just down the street instead.

I come here quite often and have spent hundreds of dollars on repairs and alterations. The other day though I picked up some pants I had hemmed and handed her my debit card. The response I got was "you have cash?" Very disappointing to give someone business yet they don't want to pay the 30 cent fee associated with running my card. How cheap can you be? All of my alterations will now go elsewhere.....

I've used this tailor several times now and it's really hit or miss. Sometimes they can be so friendly and do a great job on the alterations. Other times, you can feel so rushed when in there and they can be so rude. I've also had stitching completely fall apart the first time wearing things tailored here. Now, I really only bring pants to be hemmed here because the price is low and service is quick but I definitely wouldn't trust bringing in anything more detailed/expensive than that.

I highly recommend Anna's Alterations on Park Road. I entrusted them with altering my wedding dress - they were able to fit me in for 5 appointments in 5 weeks to make sure I was happy with the progress. Tammy took the time to teach my mom how to take care of the bustle and feel confident for the day of the wedding. It's the little things like this which made my experience fantastic with Anna's Alterations. The price was also reasonable considering the skill and quickness in their turn around.

Previously I had a great experience with them until this past time. I went in for a simple alteration - take some straps in and put a seam in the front of the dress to close the v a little. When I went to pick it up, the seam was crooked, only one of the straps in the back had been done, and worst of all, they pulled a strand of beads on my (very expensive) dress. When I started to complain that they had messed up the dress, the woman started YELLING at me and would not take blame for it, saying I brought it in like that (which was not true bc I would have noticed). The dress looked all wrong and crooked. All in all, it took me FIVE trips there to finally get the dress to look presentable. I am never going back there

I would recommend this woman to anyone! She is an amazing seamstress. I brought my wedding gown to someone else to have it altered and he butchered it! 5 weeks before the wedding. My first experiance with Anna's Alterations was a disaster. I went to the 1st shop near my home area and they turn me away. I went to the second locaton on park rd. and was over charged for an alteration to a men' s suit that I did not ask for. They gave me a price for the alterations when i took it in but when i picked it up it was $22.00 more. I didn't even get a call about it either. Their customer service is not very good at all, they were even laughing at me because i was upset about the over charge. I was taking another suit in for alterations at that time and was yelled at by a measureing person because I didn't have the right shoes. I tried on a pair that they had and was yelled at again by the lady even when it was the same pair I used for the first suit and the pants came out perfect. I will never use them again, any location.

DO NOT go here for bridal alterations. i went for my wedding dress and walked out with a 500 dollar bill to bustle, hem, and take on the sides on my dress. the hem is not straight, when they took my dress in after i insisted they didn't. it was taken in to much and then when they had to let it back out i was charged again for them to let the sides back out. why was i charged to fix their mistake???! my initial estimate i got for them to fix my dress was 350, again why was a charged 500? no response from them other than they had to take the sides out.... the same sides that they took in to begin with. completely dissatisfied with my bridal alterations and i was over charged from where they charged me to fix a mistake they made. it took up until the week i left town for my wedding to get my dress done so thanks to them i am left without bridal portraits. i am one highly upset bride to be now. thanks anna's for ruining my dress and causing me so much extra stress before my wedding.

To sum up my review in a one sentence, if you are a bride-to-be and do NOT want to get body shamed, skip Anna's in Dilworth. I walked into my appointment, put on my dress, and was immediately asked "What are we doing here?" Not being in the tailoring industry, I politely asked her for her opinion (didn't get her name, sorry) This is where things got fun. The lady asked me if I was planning on losing weight for my wedding and I asked why. She told me I should think about losing 5-10 lbs. in order for my dress to "fit right." From there, she made a few "recommendations" which could possibly result in holes in my dress. I am not sure why I would want alterations on my wedding dress that would result in holes, so I politely declined. I asked her if we could take the hem up and she said to come back once I lost the weight (in my legs, by the way) and she would look again. Needless to say, I did not leave my dress behind and I will NOT be at my September appointment.
