1 year later edit - I came back to have my tux fitted for my wedding, as they did a great job the year before. after some back and forth between the owner and her husband in polish I was told to come back in 2 months, they were too busy. Fine, my money can be spent other places. I always try to shop locally and support the businesses, but this was unacceptable turn around time. I ended up finding an awesome tailor and dry cleaner in LIC for 40% cheeper and they did a better job. Original - After reading a few reviews I was skeptical but since it was the closest to my house I gave it a try for a suit tailor. Very professional job. Listened to my concerns, quick turn around with very high quality results.

never answer the phone. closed during work hours. here's an example of how NOT to run a company. unlike many of the great polish businesses that not only survive but flourish as greenpoint expands, this shop is not fit to exist. darwin will getcha!

Had a shirt altered here. They overcharged me even though I had no deadline. But they did a good job.

Went one afternoon when they were open and was told "come back in two hours." When I did go back they told me it would be at least three week wait. They didn't bother looking at how small of a job it would have been. Since the repair is for my winter coat I didn't want to wait three weeks. I'm sure they do find work but they were completely unwelcoming and unhelpful.
