My fiancé purchased his suit here for our wedding coming up in a few weeks. The experience was awesome. They are extremely detailed and got him the perfect fit. Andrei was our tailor and he's highly experienced and detailed. They even stitched our wedding date on the inside of the suit jacket which was a nice touch. They have hundreds of fabrics, colors, buttons, etc. This is not your typical suit buying experience. They really take their time to make sure it's perfect. My fiancé and I are getting married next year, so she attended a wedding showcase this past summer and met Caragh from InStitchu NY. Caragh reaches out to me and we set up an appointment. I go to the suite in the city and meet Caragh and she introduces me to Tim, who will be the one to help put my suit together. Tim and I had a discussion on what my vision was for the wedding and color schemes. He suggested a suit which was on point. From there I was able to use their app to fully customize my suit with some professional input here and there. After that Tim took my measurements and explained how the suit should fit on my body. Next, he brought out two books filled with patterns for the inner liner and buttons. I felt like a kid in a candy shop, a great variety to choose from. After we finished up with the details on my wedding suit Tim told me about the deal they were having with the purchase of a second suit. Why did he do that, naturally I got the second suit as well. To say that I am totally satisfied with the end product would be an understatement. Both suits fit like a glove and they look GREAT!!! The customer service was top notch. This was my first time buying a tailored made suit and Tim and Caragh were a joy to work with. Tim’s attention to detail is spot on. I would highly recommend InStitchu NYC to anyone. I definitely plan on paying them another visit after the wedding next year.

For our 10 year vow renewal, my husband knew he wanted a custom tailored suit to make up for the baggy rental he had for our first wedding. We met Institchu as fellow vendors at a bridal show a couple of years ago and they stayed on top of our mind as we planned our big day. disappointing experience from start to finish. i showed up for my measuring appointment on time but the gentlemen said i was late and proceeded to hurry through the measurements. halfway through i double-checked the email confirmation and confirmed i was on time but he continued to hurry through as if he wanted me out he door as quickly as possible. when the shirt arrived a few weeks later it fit badly, so tight in the arms i had trouble bending my elbow. and one of the sleeve buttons came off after the first wash. i won’t be using their services again.

Tim's the man. Had all bases covered for me for my wedding suit. He cared about my jacket liner selection more than I ever could. I didn't even know this was an option. It was in his personal interest that I look sharp in every aspect. I'm confident I will. The suit quality matches the cost. Their suite is inviting. They were easy to schedule with. I'll be back. So in search of my FIRST tailor fitted suit i came across Institchu and something about the crispness and swagger of their fits intrigued me. I had such an amazing experience with them as I went for a consult, which made me feel like I was already a seasoned vet at this suit thing. After measurement to each aspect of my body, countless fabric choices and a complimentary drink I had my order. Once it arrived I couldn't have been more happy with the fit. I've owned my suit for about 6 months now, I don't regret my purchase and will certainly continue to buy my suits from these guys. Feels great, the compliments you'll get will make you feel more confident and you'll certainly make a good impression when walking into any room. The best part is the experience you'll have when you go to the show room. Whether you meet with Daryl, Andre or Noni, you will feel right at home. You won't feel pressured to purchase anything and the process is very easy going when choosing the details for your suit. I highly recommend you have at least one fitting session with the team, the experience makes it that much better.

It's too bad Google hasn't come up with a 0 star option yet. This place lacks customer service all around. You're gonna hate the way you're treated ... I guarantee it. I get fitted for a suit and am told to come back 7-10 days later to pick it up. I go back and am told to wait ("You're going to have to wait") even though there is literally no other customer in the vicinity. Outstanding customer service! After 10 minutes of stalling, the gentleman behind the counter ventures to look for the suit. He comes back after ANOTHER 10 minutes and tells me he can't find the suit. He says other people are looking for it. After another ONE HOUR I'm told they can't find the suit. I have to now get fully remeasured after waiting 90 minutes and now go back after ANOTHER 7-10 days. No accountability. No apology. No money back. Bad attitudes. This store was operating in an unbelievably awful manner and against standard procedure - one even escalated to their district manager.

Instichu is top notch. I worked with Tim and he helped me pick through hundreds of fabrics and patterns, measured me, and got me the best dress shirt I’ve ever worn all in roughly two weeks. There is nothing like a shirt that is completely custom to you. I’ll be going back to Tim for every shirt and suit from here on out. Would highly recommend these guys!

Best retail experience ever. I asked the folks at Institchu NYC to help me find a tux for my wedding. I must say, the customer service from day 1 was phenomenal. The guys welcomed my now wife, and myself into the boutique, offered us an assortment of beverages and a comfortable sofa for us to sit and review fabrics. Our sales person Tim, was very patient, eloquent and informative on the process of ordering a custom made suit for our wedding day. The other folks in the shop, Phil and Itashwa were very helpful in filling in for Tim when he was away, and helping me fit the suit 100% tailored to my frame. The day of the wedding, the wedding was a big success and soo was my tuxedo. The photos are amazing and people are still complimenting me on how nice I looked. Well worth the price I paid. I've made many orders with InStitchu. The quality of suits and dress shirts along with their unparalleled five-star customer service is the reason I keep going back. Tim is my guy. I feel great in my suits because he has an eye for how the fabric should sit on you. Where the generic suit off the rack wears you, at InStitchu, they make sure you wear the suit and own the look. In the real estate world, I have to be comfortable moving around a lot, all while feeling like my appearance at the end of the day looks like how it did on my way into the office. Great experience and beautiful showroom. I went to their new Flatiron location to be fitted for a suit and shirt. I was helped by their showroom manager to select a fabric (they had a book with over a hundred or so different fabrics to chose from; all different types for any NY season) and with the various options and choices to customize my suit. I loved that I was able to make changes/choices that really felt like my suit was unique to me and my personal style. Really loved monogramming everything too! The best part of the whole experience was the end result. My suit fit was excellent and I loved my shirt. The fit on both were exactly what I asked for and wanted. Jut received my suit last week, and am extremely impressed. I have gotten bespoke suits before, however the experience was great at the New York showroom, Tim was absolutely FANTASTIC and patient (even called my mobile to verify that I received the suit and if there were any issues), and i have a great looking suit at a very reasonable price point. I always thought it would be prohibitively expensive. InStitchu suits are reasonably priced and exquisitely crafted.
