Worst Taylor in the country ruined 7 pair's of new jeans that cost me over 250 a piece and two sport coats that I spent 8,700 each on and he charged me 2,220 cash didn't realize it I got home he make the jackets and jeans way to short no way to fix and he said I must have shrunk the stuff but I did nothing to the stuff after I picked it up but try it on !!!

I wanted to like Genius Tailor. The New York Times wrote a positive review, and despite a few horror story reviews online, I trusted the guy because he was friendly, down to earth and seemed to know his trade. Unfortunately, this so-called "genius tailor" is also a forgetful tailor. I had to come back not once, but twice - the first time because he forgot when he said he would finish my coat by, and the second because he had forgotten to fix the buttonholes in my coat. To add insult to injury, he tried to charge $80 for lengthening the sleeve and sewing 3 buttonholes. When I told him his price was ridiculous considering the number of times I had to come back, he told me "genius work takes time." Of course, the problem was, it wasn't that the job was hard to do but that he had forgotten to work on it at all. Do not recommend and will not return.

I don’t know about his tailoring skills but the owner is racist and rude, he’s always yelling at me and my dog because apparently he doesn’t like dogs or Latinos. I find his behavior offensive and very tiring, hopefully this review will making think about what he says to people that are just walking their dogs and minding their own business.

Had 3 pairs of pants shortened here and done within 24hrs. Same price as elsewhere in the area at $15/ pair
