My daughter needed alterations to take up the length of her prom dress. The store that we bought it at wanted to charge $60 plus a $25 rush charge because we needed it before two weeks were up. I have been hearing about house of Taylors from some of my friends. I always heard good things. So, I thought I would call her and see if she could take up my daughters dress. She said she could and we took it to her. Her price was so reasonable. She is so friendly and so sweet and she did an awesome job. She was so prompt and had it done in plenty of time . We will be taking everything that needs alterations to her at all times.

Worst experience ever. She took forever to have my three suits ready. After more than a month she call to say that they were ready. When I came in, the minor adjustments that I requested were not quite right and she said that she would take care of those. Three more weeks passed by and at the moment that I came in again to pick them up the alterations were not perfect but with honesty not bad (just ok). The problem was that she wanted to charge me for both times that she had to work on my suits (including the one when she did it wrong) to make a long story short she was charging $360 Dollars. ( about a $120 per suit). When I cordially asked for an explanation she went ballistic on me and instead of explaining to me, she became the rudest person and just limited herself to say: “either you pay or I will sell your suits”. Wow !!! Incredible but true. If I didn’t had better things to do with my time ( and my life) I would had took the “lady” to court. She doesn’t deserve any less. Please stay away from this “THIEF”

Pricing is ok, I have gone there several times and every single time I go to pick up my clothing on the scheduled date it’s has not been ready, which is always very inconvenient and frustrating! She will always ask if I can go back at the end of the day or the next day. She rushes to get it done which I can sometimes see in the quality of her work. Needless to say I don’t take anything there anymore.

I took my garment in , I was very specific what needed and had to be done, mind you this was a uniform shirt. she showed me what she would do, It was not what I had explained to her, so once again I made it very clear what needed to be done, she reassured me it would be fine, it would look better once she was finished. she gave me my claim ticket I went back on the day that it was suppossed to be done and she proceeds to tell me she forgot. I'm looking at her in disbelief, you just forget to do my shirt? She told me she took it home and forgot. I expressed my frustration to her, then she tells me, "okay I'll do it right now", I'm thinking she just told me she took home, so now I see she had lied in an attempt to cover for herself. WOW. She tells me she'll have it ready before she closes, it was 3:19 at that point and she closes at 4. I had to go back again, during rush hour traffic, she brings out my uniform shirt, she did exactly what I had explained to her what I didn,t want. My uniform shirt is now unwearable, so I'm out the money I paid for my shirt and more money because I now have to buy another one. She did a rush, sloppy job.To add insult to injury She expected me to pay her full price. UNBELIEVABLE. TERRILBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, DISHONEST PLACE OF BUSINESS. BEWARE. Don't let the sweet act fool you. She doesn"t deserve any stars much less one, but it won"t post unless you click a star.

Save your Dollars and cents!! This lady will take your garments hold them for weeks at a time claiming that she has worked on them when in fact she has done nothing but will expect full payment for work that she has not done. She will tell you to pick up your things on a certain day and when you show up she will not have them ready. I took a jumpsuit and to be himmed twice and both times she did nothing. Instead of pinning things where you want them to be, she will draw a white line on your garments with soap or chalk. Not good! Nice lady but very incompetent, slow, and forgetful save your dollars and cents and find a Another seamstress to deal with because house of Taylor’s are awful. They are not reliable.

I needed my dress about 8 inches shorter. I gave her a really short notice. She had it done on time. It looked amazing! And it was very inexpensive.
