I did not have much time before a wedding and I needed some major alterations done to a dress. Sofi promised me the world and gave me a mediocre dress. Each time we met, she would show me her progress and it was the polar opposite of what we had discussed and each time i said I was unhappy, she told me it looks beautiful and how she will improve it according to my specifications. Also, we discussed price and at one point I asked her to do a minor change, before we confirmed I asked her how much it would cost and she said "no problem", for which I assumed that since she was already charging me a fortune, she would not charge me for this minor alteration addition. Nope, She charged me again. I asked her to add some beading from a portion of the dress she had removed and she added it as a patch! it looks terrible!

I had dropped off a flannel shirt with a 4 inch rip in the sleeve that needed repair, and a pair of Levi jeans that had two dime-size holes in it. I picked up the clothes a week later and they charged me an outrageous $40.00. I was astounded and the older woman made up an excuse that it was a lot of work. The repair job on the sleeve was a patch job with over-sewing that looked like it took 10 minutes and the same with the two small holes in the jeans. I was tempted to leave the clothes there and just walk out. I dropped the $40.00 on the counter and just walked with the clothes without saying anything, but obviously pissed-off. Had I known they were going to rip me off I would have asked for a price before hand. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE RIP-OFF ARTISTS. They didn't even have the decency to iron the shirt after working on it! I had a lot more work that I was going to bring them, but now I will just go to one of their competitors nearby. I have no doubt that they would not have charged so much had I asked ahead of time how much it would cost. They had my clothes and it was either pay up or forfeit the clothes. Nice way to do business girls. Spend that $40.00 well as you will not get a dime of my business again.
