I have used them for 15+ years. They are excellent from top to bottom. They get the basics right. 1) Clothes look great when they are returned. 2) They are ready when promised. 3) The staff is friendly and helpful. They also excel at the special things. Specifically tailoring your clothes so they flatter your appearance. They have done rush orders with no warning and make the items look great. I already mentioned the helpful staff, but I want to re-emphasize they make you feel welcome when you come in, they know you by name and even ask about the family. Great Product, Great Service, Great People. Why go anywhere else?

After purchasing a sample wedding dress, I needed the ladies to alter and clean my dress. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I brought my grandmother's wedding dress from the 1950s to Moline Kronberg's and they are helping me completely restore and modernize the dress to wear at my own wedding in October 2016! They have made me feel special and well informed throughout the whole process. When I first came, they explained exactly how they would restore the dress and recommendations they had. They removed outdated sleeves and a collar to help me make this dress more modern and more aligned with the vision I had for my own dress. They also helped to shape the dress so that it looks good for my body type. Not only do they do fabulous work, but they are amazing to work with and have made me feel comfortable throughout this process! Restoring a lace wedding dress from the 1950s has the potential to be a stressful process for a bride -- but working with Moline Kronberg's has made this experience feel both memorable and stress-free! Love them!

With a hectic schedule, work easily transitions to play without a break in between. With that said, my wool suit jackets and pants take a double beating, at work by day, and at bars and lounges by night. Needless to say, it shows, with spills routinely becoming stains on my clothes. I can count on Moline-Kronberg to take care of them and have my clothes looking new, all the time. I even had a rip just next to my left pocket, I was scared my pants were ruined. Nope, not even that was a match for these pros. I won't go anywhere else, why bother looking elsewhere? I can count on quality right here

I brought my mother's 50 year old wedding gown and veil in to be restored. I honestly wasn't very hopeful because the gown had been kept in a ball in a cedar chest and was yellowed and stained. I emailed images to Marcello Rodio and he promised me that the dress could be restored and to bring it in. I came into the store and was met with kindness and professionalism. Marcello immediately took the gown, walked me through the process, and assured me all would be well. What a warm and romantic gentleman. He, his wife and son all treated me like family. Marcello even attempted to repair my vehicle when it wouldn't start in the parking lot. I picked up the gown less than a week later. It was beautiful!!! Marcello was so obviously happy with the work he had done and he had every right to be!! I displayed the gown at a surprise anniversary party for my parents. My mother couldn't believe it was her gown. She was so pleased, it moved us all to tears! I will be bringing my gown back for preservation, along with my husband's tuxedo, the christening gowns of my children and all the priceless garments of my family yet to come.

All I was asking of Moline-Kronberg Cleaners was for an explanation and some reassurance, instead I get insulted by the owner! THE BACKSTORY On 11/15/18, I called Moline-Kronberg Cleaners (MKC), inquiring about cleaning and preservation services for my wedding dress. I stressed my concern of having red wine stains on the dress since 11/10/18. They instructed me to bring my dress as soon as possible, so the stains can be removed while emphasizing,"the sooner the better." Thus, I brought the dress to MKC on 11/15/18, a few hours after speaking over the phone. That day, a seamstress and I together inspected the dress and she made notations. The total cost $900, when asked about the prices they told me they were the best. I didn't mind spending the money to preserve a beautiful memory, so I left my dress and gave the required deposit of $450, the rest was to be paid the day I'm scheduled to pick up the dress. I was assured that my dress will take immediate attention and will be ready before or on 12/31/18. Few weeks later I called, again reassured that my dress will be ready before 12/31/18. THE STORY I go to pick up my dress today 01/2/2019 (almost two months later), and am informed by one of the seamstress (Or so I thought) that nothing has been done to my dress. I inquired why, the response, "We had brides needing to get married, so we had to prioritize those dresses over yours." I asked why was I not notified sooner? There is no explanation; simply, "Again, we had very important emergencies." I proceeded to express my concern of the delayed in service, as it could potentially "decrease the stain removal", in an argumentative fashion, she responded, "I have been doing this for over 30 years, and I have taken care dresses with stains longer than 50 years." When asked, if the stains can still be removed, response, "I cannot guarantee that your dress will be prefect," in a condescending tone. When asked about new timeframe, "Within a week or so." Then began to uncover my dress, stating, "Look how dirty your dress looks, it is very dirty with too many stains." At this point, I asked her to point me to the owner, as I did not appreciate her continuous lack of customer service. In a chuckling manner, her response, "I am the owner," (Patricia Rodio). In disbelief, I made a comment about writing a review for the bad service, in a sarcastic manner she responded, "I guess your feelings are really hurt?" I voiced that I was disgusted with the lack of thereof customer service. Finally, I requested to have the deposit and dress back. Without making any effort to restore customer relations, Patricia reimbursed the deposit and hung my unclean dress on the clothing rack, the garment bag was unzipped revealing my dress to other customers. Ultimately, I zipped the garment bag, carried my dress, and left. After the fact, approximately two hours later, I received an apologetic email signed by Patricia Rodio, in a sum stating, "There seems to be a mixed up, we apologize for the bad service, please reconsider bringing your wedding dress back..." In response, you could expect to maintain a customer relationship after making a mistake and taking accountability for it. However, you cannot expect to have a "valuable customer" return to your business after being treated so rudely. "Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning." -Bill Gates

I heard from a friend of mine that Moline Krongberg was one of the few cleaners in this area who is best at dealing with this type of problem. My white couture gown with black trim was severely damaged with huge horrific yellow stains all over it from storage. It was worn once and completely unwearable ever again. It was ready for the trash bin and I was inconsolable. Another huge name haute couture cleaner had already ruined another designer piece of mine so I was at my wits end about where to go and what to do. A friend recommended I try Moline Kronberg before the trash can. Much to my surprise, they were able to restore it back to very close to near original condition. They removed the black trim to avoid it bleeding onto the delicate white fabric, then cleaned the stains and put it back together like new. I am not local to them so we did the entire thing by photo, email, phone and FedEx. Andrea expertly handled everything - including an extremely upset "on the ledge" me in tears - and my gorgeous couture gown is now ready for prime time again. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend them for both their fine attention to detailed cleaning and their superior customer service. The prices are also fair and reasonable, especially given the detailed work they do. Unfortunately, a previous cleaner left some stains on my dress, but MK did their very best to bring it back to life and it looks beautiful! I brought a 100 year old outfit that my grandfather wore as a child to be cleaned by Moline Kronberg Cleaners. The entire experience was a good one. The staff is very friendly - both on the phone and in person. They did an amazing job cleaning the outfit and restoring the color and textures of the various pieces. These pieces included a linen jacket, suede pants, and a felt hat. Everything was well taken care of and the job was so well done. I would highly recommend this cleaner if you are looking to have an heirloom piece cleaned and restored.

This review is long overdue, but that does not change how much I appreciate the ladies of M-K! I initially trusted a different seamstress with my wedding dress. Many fittings later, it was a complete disaster at my final fitting! The bustle buttons were obviously sticking out at the back of my beautiful beaded dress (see picture). I was heart-broken. Thankfully, my sister discovered M-K the Monday before my Saturday wedding. They took me in for an appointment Tuesday afternoon and completely remade my bustle, changed my cups, adjusted my straps (so I wouldn’t be in pain by the end of the night from them being too tight!), and had it ALL COMPLETED by Thursday at Noon so I could drive to my wedding venue that night. This would be an astonishing feat for a simple dress, never mind for my fully beaded wedding gown! I truly cannot thank these incredible seamstresses enough..they 100% saved my wedding day!! I refer everyone I know to them since they are TRULY EXPERTS at what they do!!

I took my dress to be hemmed and they took it up at the waist which gave me more room in the hips and stomach area. The dress FIT me better! They are are miracle workers (and wonderful human beings) who were able to remove all the unwanted stains, while allowing us to preserve all the special memories from our Big Day. If you don't leave in the area, rest assured that the end result will be worth the trek (only a short-drive or train-ride from NYC) and every penny. Nothing short of amazing! My mom's wedding gown had been kept in a plastic garment bag in an uninsulated attic since the early 1970's. Andrea walked me through the restoration process and Patricia did a great job bringing my mom's lace and silk satin dress back to life. After a tailor in NYC fell through, Martha and Patricia came to my rescue and added length, removed the sleeves, and created a French bustle so I could wear my mom's dress for my wedding. I have used Moline-Kronberg for other things since; removing red wine from a purse, alterations to a cocktail dress, basic seam work. They are competitively priced for the high quality of work and are worth the 40 minute drive.

High price for bad service. A few days after my daughter picked up her prom dress, I noticed that it had not been thoroughly cleaned. (There were deodorant stains at the interior.) I called immediately to let them know that I would be bringing the dress back. When I returned with the dress, I was accused by the manager, Andrea, of wearing the dress and bringing it back for a free dry clean. The accusation was hurtful and pretty shocking. What business flat out accuses their customers of this? While she offered to clean the dress again at no charge, it just wasn't worth the trip back after being treated this way. This cleaning business is incompetent and they don't train their employees how to treat people with respect. Andrea was confrontational and unprofessional. It's a wonder how they stay in business with people like her working for them. I don't normally write reviews, but after this horrible experience, I felt I needed to share. If you take your clothes here, they might not be thoroughly cleaned, and then you'll have to deal with a disgruntled employee. Save your money.

I took my mother's bridal cap and veil (from 1960) in to be cleaned and restored. Patricia was wonderful to deal with. She was careful and honest about what could/should be done realistically. Patricia did not push me to buy the expensive storage box, stating that I would be able to store it in a pillow case. When I picked it up, Patricia gave me a special cloth storage bag because she fell in love with the it.

Moline Kronberg Dry Cleaners is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about them. I brought a family baptism gown that was over 60 years old to them to clean. I wasn't even sure if they would be able to clean it because it was in such terrible shape, and honestly I was a little worried since it was such an old gown and made of delicate material. To my amazement, they made the gown look like new and I worried for nothing. Not only that, it was done quickly! I brought it on a Tuesday, needing it for that Sunday, and was able to pick it up by Friday! They even called to let me know that they were able to clean it and it was turning out great. The care they showed for this sentimental family gown was beyond what I expected and I am truly grateful. The customer service is great. I highly recommend Moline Kronberg and will no longer go anywhere else if I need a garment cleaned.

This is the best dry cleaning place I have ever been too! They really make miracles come true! I had brought in a white polyester blend suit that had wine spilt all over it, the suit had turned red. Most cleaners would have just turned me away at the thought of cleaning something like this but they took it. I came back two days later and it was perfect! Not even a hint of pink! I am extremely pleased and impressed with Moline-Kronberg. I had a beautiful cream color pashmina shawl that I couldn’t used because it had a big black ink stain. Somehow, Moline-Kronberg were able to make the stain disappear completely! I also had ruined some lovely table napkins with bleach. They had turned an ugly beige color. But miraculously, Moline -Kronberg turned them white and beautiful again! I also bring all my dry cleaning and clothes for tailoring and alterations. They always do an amazing job!

I am very displeased with this provider and will strongly urge all of my friends to not use this place. I recently brought in a cashmere sweater to be cleaned and when I picked it up the sweater was no longer the correct size and the beaded applicade around the neck collar and cuffs was all melted. I am a size medium and the sweater was now easliy a size small. They took no responsibility and had the nerve to charge me $18.00 for this disaster. I took the sweater back to Nordstrums and they told me the reason the sweater had shrunken was from improperly cleaning. I am very displeased.

I came to Moline-Kronberg Cleaners to get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved and I am 100% satisfied with their work! From the minute I stepped into the business I was impressed with the level of customer service and attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and ready to help! My dress was very dirty at the bottom and a couple of buttons fell off. They took about 3 weeks to get the job done but the results were beyond anything I could have imagined! When I arrived to the store for pick up, the staff even knew me by my first name and that really added a nice personal touch. They secured my dress in a preservation box and opened it in front of me when I came for pick up so that I could inspect the dress. My dress looked just like new, it was super clean, the buttons were sewed on and they even included gloves in the packaging that they recommend that I put on whenever I want to try on my dress. The price was very reasonable for the work that was done. I compared prices with many different cleaners and this was well in range. I highly recommend! I will definitely be using them for all my dry cleaning needs!

I went to Moline Kronberg's to have a bridesmaid dress altered--the hem needed to be fixed as it was too long and a strap at my arm needed to be taken in as it was too large. ($250 in alterations) Other than that, everything else fit beautifully. I had to go in several times just to get the hem correct. Each time I went in, the dress was too long. (I wore the same shoes each time.) Also, when the strap was taken in, the entire dress was raised so the bra cups were not positioned correctly. The cups were several inches above my breastline, which made the dress look awful at the top because it looked like I had two sets of breasts. The seamstress said there was nothing she could do as she removed the extra fabric from the strap. I then asked that the cups and boning be removed so it would look less weird. While the seamstress agreed to do it, when I picked up the dress the day before the wedding, my requests for the bust area were not completed. (Thankfully the hem was finally correct.) I had to wear the dress as it was. I won't be going back to Moline Kronberg's for any future alterations.

I am beyond happy that I chose Moline-Kronberg Cleaners to clean and preserve my wedding dress. While I have not gotten it back just yet, when I went in they were SO kind, considerate, knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely interested in my wedding dress and big day (which at the time I was still over the moon about and gushed about my dress and the big day probably more than they wanted to hear about :D) I just immediately felt comfortable with entrusting my dress to them and they were so clear about their process and when to expect my dress to be finished. Their pricing was exactly within the range I expected for quality service as well.
