Great alternations at a fair price. They gladly make adjustment alternations if you are unhappy with the initial result. I bring everything from pants shortening to more intensive work on new suit jackets.

Takes too long compared with other places to get a job done, won't call when the job is ready to pick up, won't wait 5min after closing because the client is running late, then suggests picking up 9:00am in the morning. Other places open much earlier to work around normal working time.

A high-end designer store recommended Ignacio's for tailoring their items several years ago. I have been going here ever since, and they consistently do a very good job. George has a good eye for subtle adjustments that improve the fit of garments, the quality of work is always good, and things are ready when promised.

Not reliable! Dropped a dress off 2 1/2 weeks before event date and asked for it to be done in one week. They requested 2 weeks instead, which I was hesitant since they were doing a good amount of work to the dress and I wanted to be able to try it on and have time in case further work had to be done to it before event. I trusted them and confirmed the two weeks. I called 3 days before the scheduled date it was going to be done to confirm it will be ready, they assured me it would be ready...it wasn’t. Went to pick it up on the agreed upon date and they hadn’t even STARTED working on it yet! Couldn’t believe it. Would not recommend, especially for an important event.
