BY FAR the best tailor on the UES, and could make a serious run at the title for other Manhattan neighborhoods if he cared about such things. Can do whatever you ask of him with impeccable judgment, a fast turnaround, and second-to-none production; from Alterations to Zippers, he gets it done! As his is a CASH-ONLY establishment, be prepared to bring some bills with you. Prices, relatively speaking, can be high for seemingly simple requests like button / zipper replacement and various stitching repairs, but given his skill, it's definitely worth it. Able to handle high-end, internationally known labels just as well as the off-the-rack stuff with no problem. Could be a little more engaging and customer-oriented (comes off as a little brusque, initially), but is a pro's pro who knows his stuff and doesn't make mistakes. Your business will only add to the legend. Make it so.
