Simply put you want Royal Cleaner & Tailors (specifically Melissa!!!!!) altering your expensive clothing. When you are making a large investment in your clothing do not skimp on some "cut-rate" option for alterations if you need any. You could make an amazing piece of clothing look bad if you try to get the cheapest option on altering. I made that mistake in the past so this time around I wanted to go to the best. Melissa at Royal is hands down THE. BEST. Not only did they tolerate me coming back multiple times with different shoes to make sure the length of my pants was correct before making the alterations, they encouraged me to do so and never made me feel they were impatient with me taking so long. Everybody who works there is SO friendly and truly gives you that family owned feeling. After all of my picky-ness for all 5 jeans and 4 dress pants I spent hours contemplating they all were super supportive and gave me their honest opinions of what looks best. They were so prompt and professional and the turnaround time was less than 5 business days. Most important of all though.... the quality of the results was UNMATCHED to anywhere I have ever used for alterations. Melissa did such an incredible job and I feel so confident in my clothing since it now fits my body completely perfectly. I have been to many shops to get alterations and nobody will do this good of work, and it is worth absolutely every penny. It might be more than some competition but like I said...you get what you pay for and if you want to walk around with poorly altered clothes and look like youre in middle school then save the money and spend it on some McDonalds lol since you probs dont value investing in quality. If quality is what you are seeking then I guarantee Royal will go above and beyond whatever hopes you have. They are so professional and helpful any time you need to call to make a request, add something to your order, ask a question, and they cant make it any easier on the customer. And as I have mentioned before.... even if the people were mean and unresponsive (which they are the opposite of both) the quality of their work is most important and they hands down are the most superior quality you will find when it comes to making alterations to your clothes. Royal Cleaners and Melissa THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING TRUE QUALITY, PROFESSIONALISM, AND DEDICATION TO THE CUSTOMER to this part of the metro-west and restoring the values in Brick and mortar stores that we see disappearing all to often in this instant-gratification world we live in where everyone is so quick to look for cheap. They are for sure the best in the business and I will forever refer anybody that I possibly could. And no they did not pay me nor ask me to write this review and I am not related to anyone there. When I experience something amazing it needs to be recognized.

Generally good. They did mess up a $60 shirt (large black stain after washing it - not before), and the worker suggested that I contact the owner. I tried calling a few times after 9a, but was not able to easily get a hold of him. I moved shortly thereafter and did not pursue it further, but would have appreciated if they had put the initiative into reimbursing me rather than leaving it my court (but that is the real world :P) Would have given a 3.5/5, but I feel a 3 is too harsh.

This has become my go-to place for all dry cleaning and alterations. Melissa has done magical things with a gown I brought in for hemming and a pair of pants. She is currently working on another gown for me, which I know she will do wonderfully with. They have all of my future business!
