Henrietta is wonderful. I needed a bunch of suits done a week long work conference for a new job. Henrietta was personable, professional, and did the work even though I had a short time frame. She even met me at the shop after she had closed to give me the suits so I would have them for the conference. Class act, and good work at a fair price. Would absolutely recommend!

I used to go to Peter's Tailoring for years when it was located in the burned down building across the street from the beach. I was happy to find out it moved to this new location. I was so disappointed when I visited! The men who worked at the old place are no longer there. They were very professional and have been doing all my tailoring for 10 years. This new lady is very rude, which I would not care about if she did good work. However, the way she proposed to do the work is unprofessional and even she said it would look very bad (jeans alteration). When I told her that this is not how jeans are altered professionally, and offered an alternative how it should be done, she said "I know, but it's too much work and I don't want to do it". Of course, I walked out. Will never give her any business and never should you. Too bad - Peter always did such professional job, he would be so ashamed to find out what is going on in the place that carries his name. This place does not deserve to have his name. If you want quality professional work - stay away from this place!

Horrible service!!! In short, there are multiple problems with that business: price, customer service, work quality. Now in details... The price is steep. The cost to cut some length of a dress is $45, which is about twice the average alteration places charge. As a first time customer my wife assumed it's a classy place, worth the price, so she expected high quality work. When we came back to pick up the dress the lady was really rude because we crossed the line between customer area and the actual sewing, which wasn't clearly identified. We actually did that because we were ignored by the same lady 2 seconds prior. When asked whether she ironed the dress (the bottom part) she answered yes, which was an obvious lie. The underskirt was not shortened the same way the top layer was, so occasionally you could see the underskirt because it stayed as long as before. Since we had limited time I ended up shortening the underskirt and ironing the bottom of a dress myself the same night (finished after midnight). At least I had a sewing machine to do that. How about lucky ones who don’t :)
