I came here on Thursday and I was promised to have my jacket on Friday. However, when I came on that date I was told that it wasn’t ready and he pushed it to Tuesday. When I came on Tuesday they lied saying they are looking for it. The TRUTH is that they are doing the job at this very minute. OF COURSE the job did not meet my expectation.

Had sides taken in on 6 dress shirts. Took them home and tried them on and realized they were all off. The sides were not taken in equally and now the buttons do not line up. This causes bizarre creases in the shirts. The tailor acknowledged there was an issue with the tailoring and that he could fix it. He then asked where I had the shirts tailored. I told him that Newbury Tailoring did the work. He then said that the dry cleaner had shrunk the shirts and he was not responsible. I questioned why it was the case that one side shrunk and the other did not. He did not have an answer. That's what you're dealing with at Newbury Tailoring.

Newbury Tailoring Co. took care of the alterations needed on my wedding dress. I am so happy with the results. I had to go in for several fittings and never once felt rushed. They perform miracles on jeans with very reasonable prices. I've brought in jeans wearing through in the seat and they reinforce the back panel on the inside, so they are sturdy and wearable while still looking worn in. Also, so nice and great customer service!

I had a pair of Salomon trail running specific shorts that that needed to tailored after being torn in a couple of places. I talked to the owner and he was able to quickly identify the problem and map out a good solution to fixing them. I was impressed, not only do they tailor fashion wear, they even tailor sports wear too! Great job!

They damaged my wedding dress!!!! This place knows very well how to rip you off. They lie and are so rude. I called them for a wedding dress ulteration. They told me it would cost something between $300 to $600 at the max. Then I went there and they told me it would cost 600$. I told them that's too much and I want them to do that for me if they give me a good discount. Then the tailor started addings pins to the dress. They did the measurment and for doing a couple of simple things wanted to charge me $850. I told them no, I can't do that. You're changing your word all the time and they damaged my wedding dress by wanting to take the pins off the dress! They also wanted to charge me 50$ for adding thise pins to the dress. Would NEVER go to this place or trust them. They damage your dress!

Very disappointed by my experience here. I had 4-5 suits tailored and was given a verbal estimate that was 10-times less than what they actually charged me. They didn’t write-down the estimate on the claim check. So shady! Make sure you get your estimate written down first, or insist to pay upfront.

Worst service I've had ever experienced with a tailoring shop. Unprofessional and incompetent. After I've had to go in person four times to have my tuxedo altered, they ruined the entire suit. They delivered it to me with chalk markings, uneven trousers and every time it got worse. It appears that nobody knows what they are doing. A waste of time and energy. Stay away from such an amateurish business, especially if you have valuable clothing to alter.

I paid $120 to have my dress hemmed (no other adjustments) in five days. Besides the 100% rush fee for five days, which is already too much, they didn’t even hem it correctly. The underskirt is significantly too long for the outer layer and it is noticeable when worn. Incredibly disappointed. I should have just done it myself.

I brought my wedding dress here as a recommendation from the bridal boutique I purchased my dress at. Newbury Tailoring did a fantastic job on my dress! I had a bustle completed and they brought the back of my dress in a bit and adjusted the straps. I had to go back twice because I had lost some weight but they had it ready just in time. I absolutely love how it came out and they are super affordable! I would recommend them to anyone!

Recommend? Yes. Would I go back? Yes. They take their sweet time? Yes. I had a jacket that needed fixing. Two of the buttons had been ripped out. These were the type that are bolted on, rather than sown. I looked at over 10 tailors, shoemakers, and people who do repairs, but no one had "the machine" to fix bolted buttons. Finally, I found Newbury Tailoring Co. Their main person took a look at the jacket, the buttons, and said it was no problem, and it would be ready in a week on Tuesday. I returned a week later with the order ticket. The jacket was not ready; he hadn't even begun working on it. He told me to come again on Friday, and so I did. Again, I walk in, hand in the ticket, the person at the counter goes to check, and nothing. He still hadn't begun working on the jacket. I should come back after the weekend. I returned next Tuesday, and by now the person at the counter recognized my and went to fetch the jacket. It was ready, yei! And because I had been a good sport, they didn't charge me anything. Why 5 stars for such tardiness? The job was properly done. The repair job was free. I was in no hurry. Bottom line: I got my jacket fixed, for an issue that was too complicated for most tailors/repair people, for free, after a couple pointless trips downtown.

I got my 2 backpack zipper that got out of the zipper line fixed for free and it took only 10 minutes! I'm definitely visiting few more times to fix all my problematic stuffs!!

Ok quality of the tailoring, had to have a lot of back and forth as forgot some aspects of what we diwcussed. Way over priced, double of the expectation, with no communication about price estimates or what impacts it. Would have gone with a different provider.
