Marty’s is excellent. Kind service and thoughtful repairs. Marty also prices fairly and makes honest estimates. For example, I recently went in to alter a jacket and she told me to exchange for a larger size rather than get paid for the alterations.

I didn't end up getting any work done by Marty, but she fit me in this morning last minute for what would have been a very last minute dress hemming (I'm the MoH in my best friends wedding one week from today!). She was very matter of fact that the length of my dress was fine and she didn't want me to spend the money if I didn't have to. I called Marty mid-morning on Thursday asking if she could hem my dress and have it ready the next day. She said to come right up. On my lunch-break I went to her house, we determined the length, and less than 24 hours later she dropped off the dress to me! It looks great! Can't say enough about her, she's terrific!

Panicking, after my daughter was asked to the prom at the last minute , I called Marty on Tuesday, the Prom being on Saturday. We went right over. Marty is so nice, I felt like I've known her forever, and she is an amazing seamstress. She took 6 inches off a waterfall hem of a magnificent dress built for a 5'11" model and my daughter is 5'3"and the dress looked like it had just come from the showroom! We were thrilled. Definitely 5 stars!

I have had Marty sew on many Cub Scout patches, and she does a great job. She is usually able to complete the work quickly, and she charges a reasonable amount for it. You can leave your items on her porch with your information and what you need done, then pick up from the porch when it's done if you have odd hours or no time to chat.

Marty's was such a great find! Over 10 years ago I got a beautiful gold Thai Silk bridesmaid dress that has since become *just a bit* too tight (just a little)! We are here for the summer and I brought the dress up with me, hoping I could find somebody who could take it out *just a little bit* so I could wear it to my sister's wedding in a few weeks. I knew the chances were slim someone could do it (that there'd be enough fabric there to take it out with. . .way back when I had it taken IN) and that it was also on short notice. MARTY DID IT! She found a way to make it fit (which it does, PERFECTLY), and did it quick (she told me it would take over a week, which was fine, but she did it in less!) and for a very reasonable price. I'm thrilled. I definitely recommend her to others. . .and will definitely go back with future alterations

This is the worst tailor I ever have been in my life. I asked Marty to shorten the pant legs of three of my trousers. She called me back three times for measurements and every time the length was wrong even though she had already carefully had measured the length. Marty might be good at something, but she sure does not know much about man stuff.
