I love this place. The staff is always friendly and my clothes are always perfect. I can assure you that in 10+ visits I"ve never had any problems with the staff and their "broken" english; they all spoke perfect english and if anything, they are almost too polite. I've used the tailor twice with great results as well. I would def. recommend this place. The hours are fantastic, but the prices seem a tad high.

I was extremely impressed by your store, from the way it looks (clean and well organized), to the friendly customer service. When the young lady knew it was my first time there, she said "Welcome to our store!" The store has a nice vibe to it. I picked up my clothes via the drive up, and that was extremely convenient. The same young lady was there, and she was extremely friendly again. Thanks for a nice experience

Terrible Customer Service - Lost my business before they ever had it. I stopped by today with a dress that I needed hemmed. Cheryl was working. I told her what I needed and she rudely said "Is it pinned already? We don't have anyone here that does that." I said no but that I could do it for her. She shoved a packet of safety pins across the counter. Then I asked did she know when I could get it back and how much it would cost. She said "I don't have any idea how much it will cost and I cannot make you any promises about when you would get it back." I asked if there was anyone there that knew. She said "Look we don't do these alterations we send them to someone else and we don't have any way of knowing their schedule - this is a franchise!" I looked at her and said "I think I'll take my business somewhere that wants it. May I ask your name?" She said "That's fine. My name is Cheryl." Whomever the franchise owner is, you may want to consider teaching Cheryl a little customer service or show her the door. If she is any indication of the culture of the organization then I will certainly never use this company in ANY location.

The most expensive alteration!! Ripped off. When I dropped my pants they give me a receipt of 54$ total but when I pick it up, they told me it's 90$!! What???? Ridiculous !!! Never again....

I wear dress shirts everyday for work and have been getting them dry cleaned for decades now. I've been going to Lapels for about 9 months now and just recently I received my Kenneth Cole Reaction shirt back with multiple rips up the sleeve. When I brought it back to show the damage the woman immediately shook her head and insisted she wouldn't do anything to help resolve the situation. She said, "It's an old shirt" and while it is a few years old, it was by no means "past it's prime" and that type of service is unacceptable. DO NOT DRY CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES HERE! If you do, you do so at your own risk because the owners will not even grant you the dignity of being respectful while they out right refuse to work out a plan to fix the $60 shirt they ruined. She couldn't care less when I said she'd be losing a lifetime customer who would end up spending hundreds of dollars. Hopefully I can save others hundreds of dollars by avoiding this place!

This was my first time using a dry cleaners in this area and I had a great experience. I found them using Yelp as their reviews were so positive I decided to check them out. I met the owner who shook my hand, was friendly and pleasant when explaining all of the services available and walked me through the process. When I went to pickup my coat was pristine and looked great! I will definitely be using them again for future needs.

This cleaner used to be locally owned and the cleaning was done ON PREMISIS, but the owners sold out to "Lapels" (multi-store operation) in May 2018 (?) and now all the cleaning is taken to a central location for processing. I had always been happy with Palmetto Cleaners, though I noticed an immediate difference under new ownership. My recent cleaning was obviously not starched/pressed well at all, nor to my typical light-starch preference. The quality is definitely not the same as sleeves on my dress shirts were all in disarray and the collar "stay" at top button of my dress shirts (used by prior Owner/operation) are no longer used by the "centralized" operation. I'll be looking for a new cleaner . . . After reading the review posted by Brad Boggs, my guess is that the transport/centralized cleaning issue is the culprit for the missing shirt.

I found Lapels as it's location is near my home. My first visit was for pants alterations. Being short, of course the length had to be shortened, but considering the fit of these pants are designed for someone much taller I had them also take in the inherent" baginess." The results were everything I could have wanted. At the same visit I dropped off my white suit for cleaning. Though use outside the cuffs had some grass stains, and other blemishes from use. When I examined my suit, it is like new. I'll be bringing all my suits for cleaning in the future.

Fantastic cleaners! Had a suit with oil stains on the jacket and did not think it could be removed. Three days later I go to pick it up and it looks like new again! Thank you!

I took a shirt into have it cleaned. When I got it home a few days later I went to wear the shirt and it was covered with white spots. I take the shirt back to them in the clear plastic and still on the hanger. They say to come back a few days later and that they would clean the shirt. I go back a few days later to pick up the shirt and it’s no where’s to be found. I have since gone back in several times and they still haven’t found it. Every time I go in I get give me some time give me some time. I have since reached out to the owner via this Facebook page and then too are giving me the give me some time run around. This shirt had only been worn 3-4 times since I purchased it earlier this year. I went to the Coastal Grand Mall and took pictures of the shirt and also had the store to ring the shirt up so the owner could see the total amount that I was out. So this now is going on three weeks that my shirt has gone to miss and they are still refusing to fix the issue that they caused. I was a valuable customer that took clothes in there every other week, but you see your value when they make a mistake and refuse to make things right with their customers. I don’t suggest anyone take anything of value to this store because if it goes to miss or they damage it they WONT fix their problem!

Awful customer service. Took over a week to clean a king comforter and was $45. Ridiculously high priced. I called after 9 days to check and ask if my comforter was ready, (because the lady told me she would call when it was ready) and the lady that answered told me that she “had customers at her desk and couldn’t look to see if my order was ready, and that I would need to call back later”. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Will not take anything ever again to get cleaned here.

Completely disappointed with this place. I went in to get my dress hemmed for a wedding, nothing crazy as far as alterations. They tried to charge me $160 for a hem on a chiffon dress with two layers and a press!! The tailor proceeded to tell me "oh ok, I can take 20% off then". But STILL!! Definitely going elsewhere to get my dress hemmed, dry cleaning services as well. I have been in several weddings with some dresses needing way more alterations and it didn't cost nearly as much. The tailor even took the pins out of my dress before I left!! What a rip off!

This was my first time using a dry cleaners before. I decided to come to The Cleaner Spot because of all the positive reviews. I'm so happy with it. I took in one of my favorite fall jackets and a dress to get cleaned. I took it in on Monday they told me it would be done by Thursday, that was fine with me because I didn't need them back right away. They took amazing care of my clothes. The jacket looked like it was brand new and they got a stain out of my dress. The only reason why I'm giving it a four star is because of the price of getting to pieces of clothing done. It was almost $40. Still though I'm very happy and I would come back again if I had to.
