Bill and his sister got me all ready for my wedding and even did a last minute adjustment. Bill talked me out of altering my dated suit and instead buying a new suit, which I am very thankful for after comparing the two. A 3 piece navy suit and separare pant alteration cost me $460. I don't have anything to compare it to except buy 1 get 1 free deals at chain stores... All I can say is the suit looked great and was worth it to me.

If you need a suit (or other dress clothes) and want to look good, you should pay a visit to Frank's (across from the Park St. T station). They have great selection and will make you look good. Your purchase includes the cost of tailoring, which is a great deal. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. I've received many compliments on the suits that I have bought from them.

Had my whole wedding party fitted there and am definitely going back there for all my suits in the future. I've done Buy One Get One free at Men's Wearhouse for years. However, after the alteration costs and everything else, it's as much as 2 from Frank's, if not more. Great people. Great business. Customer for life.

In addition to opening at 8am, which is accommodates workday schedules, I found that Frank completed my alterations exactly as I wished. The price to alter two suits was well worth it - and comparable to what I've paid outside of Boston. When picking up the suits, Frank's son gave me some helpful suggestions about dry cleaning, too. Alterations completed were as follows: -shorten pant hems by several inches; -eliminate excess/droopy fabric in coats; -tighten pants around the waist; -repair seams in waist of one set of pant; and -shorten sleeves on coats. Time to complete alterations: five days

I contacted Frank's because I saw good reviews online. I have been looking for a place to get a couple new suits and from the reviews I read, this place seemed great, but I initially called today (9:15AM on 8/11/17) to ask about shirt alterations. The man who answered the phone was easily one of the rudest people I've encountered in the service industry. Within five seconds of picking up the phone, he said Frank's couldn't do shirt alternations - I don't think he even understood what I was asking because he didn't give me time to explain what I was looking for - then he abruptly hung up on me. There's no way I will go to Frank's to get new suits or anything for that matter. When you're looking for something that's of high quality and custom made, having someone who won't listen to what the customer is asking is a huge red flag. Better off going somewhere else.

Dropped off 3 pairs of pants to be hemmed. Was told it would be a week. Came back 10 days later after leaving work early because of their limited hours, and they couldn’t find my pants. Turned out someone at the shop changed the finish date and added an extra week and half without calling to tell me. What a waste of my time. Edit: See below. They finished the pants the next day, called twice to apologize and then again below, and took half off the total. Very satisfied with the customer service. The initial mistake was unfortunate, but mistakes happen and they made up for it.

I used to buy suits from here when I was in the area. The Mantoni suits were the "entry level" suits, but they always were a quality suit. You don't have to buy his suits, but it's worth doing it because his suits with tailoring comes at a great price bundled together. If there's something that you shouldn't do or is not recommended, then Bill is a straight shooter and will tell you what you should be going after. It's a small mom and pop shop in downtown Boston, which is unique because everything else is really commercial/corporate in downtown Boston. You really have to go to New York to get the same experience, but even in New York, you most likely won't find the honesty and down to earth demeanor Bill has. I don't live in the area anymore, and I haven't had a need for new suits lately. This is the place to go if you want a quality suit with good tailoring, but you don't want to pay exorbitant prices at some other tailor shop.

Damaged a suit from Men's Warehouse while being altered. Blamed the damage on the quality of the suit and asked me to get another one from them. Refused to refund the $120 I paid for the alterations on top of it and only agreed to refund $60 after a long conversation.

These guys are fantastic. Great people and good selection of suits at solid prices. For about $400 you can get a nice suit custom tailored for you within a week or two depending on what time of year. For me they had it available in two days to meet a timeline. Enjoyed the conversations with the staff, for their price range they can't be beat in my opinion.
