I went in naively thinking I'd just hem my wedding dress and Angie worked with me to transform my dress. It was beyond what I imagined, thanks to her expertise and creativity. She is so sweet, funny, and talented! My husband also had his suit tailored and she did a great job. (Pro tip: Don't go to Men's Wearhouse). Thank you Angie!!

Angie is amazing, I read the near perfect reviews on Google and hoped for the best while bracing for disappointment. Angie actually suggested that I go to the mall, look at some of the brand new suits as they are tailored to my fit more so than the one I had brought to be tailored. She was more worried about my being satisfied in every area then she was getting business. This is the mark of someone who truly cares for the people she is servicing, and precisely the reason I only wanted to go with her. Angie then proceeded to tailor my suit to perfection! If Angie can make me look good, she can do the same for you. Excellent service, Customer care... everything!

It seems practically impossible to quantify and qualify how incredible Angie was throughout the dress-tailoring process. We were two brides, so she had double the work to make our dresses perfectly fitting and beautiful for our wedding day. And let me just start by saying they didn’t just turn out perfect, they turned out better than we could’ve ever imagined them being. We joke now about how we just brought Angie the raw material, and she made the dresses around us. It might as well be true. One of our dresses had a lace layer overtop a couple layers of silk chiffon-type material, and the dress was ordered to size, but ended up being WAY too large. As dresses are made-to-order, there’s no quick exchange process, so we had to rely on Angie not just to take the dress in, but to entirely re-create it. And she did. She made recommendations on the neck and back lines, the bust, and down through the hips where she formed it more than the original design. She took what looked like an oversized mumu (no joke) and turned it into an elegant, flowing, perfectly fitting gown that far outdid any expectations we could’ve dreamt up. The other dress was a bit simpler, and fit pretty well from the start – or so we thought. Angie re-envisioned the dress and added elements to the torso which made it much more dynamic and beautiful than before. She was constantly outdoing even the highest expectations, and then going past that, too. For the service that you are getting, and for the level of attention and detail she puts into every single dress, she VASTLY undercharges. If we had our dresses tailored at any other location, it likely would’ve cost double what we paid. And when you’re stuck in your dress, standing in front of a mirror getting pinned and pinched, you’ll be thankful Angie’s your tailor because she’s sweet and funny and generally all-around wonderful. We cannot say enough about this lady. If you’re getting married anywhere near Boston, make the drive to Lowell. She is 100% worth it and will make your dress more amazing than you could ever possibly imagined.

Angie is not only a sweetheart, she is honest and talented! I trusted her every step of the way when altering my wedding dress and everything came out great. I will absolutely go to her for any tailoring needs in the future.

I am so very happy I found Angie! I have a black tie event to go to in a few weeks. I ended up purchasing a gown that was two sizes too big and wasn't sure if I could find anyone who would be able to adjust it. Angie took it in and completely RE-MADE the dress. It looks even better than I thought it could and she only did it in two weeks! I highly recommend her services. She is very professional and personable as well. I will be taking my future wedding gown to her!

Angie is very personable. She does professional work in timely basis and the charge is reasonable. I got lost when I went to the shop for first time because it looks just like an ordinary house. She serves LOTS OF customers and even don't need any AD!

Perhaps takes advantages of brides to give other customers good deals. Does fantastic work but be sure to get a clear price before work is done. Estimate was $500, she suggested changes to my bridal gown which my mother and I agreed to (although some she started before checking... I was shocked to arrive to my dress in PIECES when we never mentioned cutting any of the lace....) and she quoted $500 after discussing needed changes. I agreed and she made many changes, some of her own accord withOUT asking!! Yes they look good but still... then final price was suddenly $800 when I handed her my card..after no mention of a price change during any of my visits. I questioned how it jumped with no notice... She quickly went back to $550, only $50 above the original quote, but stood literally in tears as she swiped my card and I signed. Sobbing. It was the most uncomfortable moment of my life. And this is how I will remember getting my wedding dress!??! She made me feel like a monster for asking to stay NEAR the originally quoted price. I will never be returning and I hope other brides are given a more fair or at least clear idea ahead of time. Not to mention my wedding is in a week-- I was told to pick up my dress Saturday. I arrived and it wasn't ready. That's fine, but I live 40 minutes away and a call would have been nice. She asked that I return today, Wednesday. I arrived and it was in pieces as I mentioned before-- she had decided to hem it without discussing it with me at all.... I was shocked but stayed calm as I trusted her plan... She asked that I come back tomorrow but I reminded her that I live 40 minutes away and this was my second attempt to pick up the dress... (And that our wedding is in just a few days!!) So she had me wait an hour while she completed the impromptu hem. Then she startled me with almost double the price that she had quoted me at drop off two months ago. I love my dress and she did a great job but Angie was misleading on multiple counts. Then the price change and the complete lack of professionalism and tears.... Good luck to you....

Can't say enough about what a wonderful experience my daughter and I had working with Angie and how she made us feel so comfortable. She altered my daughter's prom dress so professionally and took the time to make her feel completely comfortable with her dress. By our second visit, we felt like we were not only getting a dress altered but were visiting a friend. How often do you hug your tailor! You will when you visit Angie. I purchased suits for my groomsmen for a May 25th wedding of 2012. After getting the suits from Jos A. Banks I needed alterations. I did a search on Yelp as I do for most things when I am new to an area. Angie came highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars on all of her reviews. I figured, it must be her own children writing these reviews. I figured I would give it a shot I only get married once. Not only was she extrenmely pleasant, but taught me a lot about suits in general and how they should be worn. She knows the current styles, she works in an expedient fashion, she takes credit cards right to her iPad including my discover card. The price was very reasonable for the amount of time she put into it. I picked up my suit, pressed better than coming from the dry cleaners two days before the wedding. Now I have groomsmen of mine going with that suit AFTER the wedding to get the Angie personal touch on them. She was so great to deal with. I would stand behind her work any day of the week!

Angie is incredibly helpful. She is a perfectionist and wants her brides to have the absolute perfect fit. She was a huge help in showing me how my dress is actually supposed to fit, and pointed me in the right direction when we realized my dress was the wrong size for me. Angie is a very honest person. I had a slightly worn dress coat that I purchased for a Christmas present. The sleeves were to short and the seller said I could have them tailored. Angie evaluated the material and stated without a doubt it would be a bad idea due to wear along the cuffs. It would be to obvious. In this day and age, to find someone who has integrity, patience, talent and exceptional skill is rare. She wants you to be happy with the end result. She is invested in the outcome and your happiness. Very personable.

I brought Angie several items of clothing that I had bought on Ebay. The fabric was awesome, the fit was horrible. With each item, Angie patiently assessed what needed to be done to make it right. I have to say that Angie is by far the most passionate, professional, and trustworthy individuals I have ever met. She is a genius at her craft! Listening to her explain how the material should fall and how each alteration affects that fall was fascinating and educational. I would recommend Angie to anyone and everyone! She is a lovely woman with a heart that can hardly be contained. She is simply awesome!
